In preparing for our wedding, I was looking to streamline the planning process as much as possible and hoped that I could find a hairstylist and makeup artist through the same company. I couldn't have been luckier to find Mariel and the Bridal Artistry Co! From the trial to our wedding day, Mariel was so nice and easy to work with. She was responsive to the many questions I had, and flexible to changes I made from the trial, and I knew I was in the most capable hands. She styled both hair and makeup for myself (as the bride), my mother, and maid of honor and we all felt stunning. She flawlessly executed each style we requested, which were all different from each other, and our hair and makeup truly lasted all night. Through lots of happy tears at the ceremony, and a night of dancing, my hair and makeup looked and felt perfect!

Mariel and her team did an incredible job on our wedding day! My hair and makeup were an absolute dream, and turned out exactly like my vision that I described to Mariel. She and her team also did such beautiful work for hair and make up on my wedding party and everyone was thrilled with their styles. Thank you to Mariel and team for making us all feel so beautiful!

Mariel absolutely worked her magic at our wedding this September! I chose her after my friend’s wedding, and she came highly recommended. I did a bridal trial with her a few months before our wedding, and it helped ease so much of my anxiety for the day of. I ended up changing basically everything between my trial and wedding day (hair due to the weight of my veil needing more of an anchor, and makeup because I wasn’t fully satisfied with what I originally thought I wanted), but she rolled with it and did such a beautiful job day-of. She listened to everything I wanted when it came to my makeup (I can be picky about a few things), and as long as you communicate what you did/didn’t like you can’t go wrong. She did both my hair and makeup and the makeup for my bridesmaids and mom, and brought along a secondary hair stylist (Tressa Hair) for everyone else’s hair. She is a bit pricier compared to some of the other HMU artists I looked at, but it was sooo worth it. She did an absolutely amazing job and everyone looked so beautiful and were so happy with the results. You don’t want to skimp on HMU for your wedding and I would hire Mariel all over again if I could!

After an unfortunate communication issue with the venue, Mariel and team jumped into action and got all the services done in ~4 hours for 8 girls. They were fast, efficient, friendly and did amazing work that lasted all night. And last but not least my fiance was so happy because he said I looked like myself even with all the makeup on. 5/5 stars and highly recommend!!

I cannot recommend Mariel enough! She did my makeup for my wedding, along with my entire bridal party, and she made all of us feel so incredibly beautiful. She was able to create a natural, glowing look that still felt elevated and special. She listened to what each of us wanted, made everyone feel so comfortable, and truly brought out the best in all of us.

I can’t recommend Mariel and the Bridal Artistry Co. team enough! From the moment I met her during my trail she was very professional and easy to work with. I had been between two hairstairs (an up-do or half up/half down) and she did both so that I could see how each looked. Along with that, my mom had been nervous about the makeup so she was able to do a trail with Mariel and she made it look so natural. On the day of, Mariel arrived with ample time to set up and we never felt rushed/stayed within the timeline that Mariel had helped put together. Overall, Mariel was so easy to work with and would recommend to anyone looking for a hair/makeup artist!

I have nothing but great things to say about Mariel and her company. I first met Mariel in summer 2020 when she came to my parents’ house to do my family’s hair and makeup for my sister’s micro-wedding. She’s done my hair and makeup three times over the last four years including my wedding day.

Mariel is very personable. When we reconnected last year for my wedding, she was able to recall details about my life from 2020 and inquired about updates from me and my family. She made me feel like an old friend vs. a stranger.

She is also very timely, professional and efficient. The morning of my wedding we had a tight turnaround- all 10 women needed to be hair and makeup ready by noon. Mariel and her team arrived to my parents’ house at 7am on the dot and got straight to work. So many of my bridesmaids that have been in multiple weddings said that the Bridal Artistry’s hair and makeup was the best they’ve ever had.

Mariel was amazing in every possible way for our makeup on our wedding day. First, my trial run was great and she really listened to everything I asked for, while making the slight adjustments I requested. Then, we had to change our venue last minute and Mariel reached out for logistics, but also to check in with how we were doing with the whole mess of things. She was flexible and understanding with last minute changes and playing it by ear as we were making adjustments and figuring out how the day would go. Our makeup was done ahead of schedule and she really made me feel so beautiful on my day. All of us looked fabulous, highly recommend The Bridal Artistry Co.!

Mariel is simply the best!!! I gave her a few thoughts on my hair and makeup and she was able to translate that into exactly what I wanted. I received so many compliments throughout the day and both the hair and makeup lasted all night. She is a true professional and very accommodating throughout the process - I couldn't recommend her and her team enough for brides and bridal parties!!

Mariel is an absolute gem! Not only did she make me look and feel like the most beautiful bride, but she also flawlessly did the makeup for my entire bridal party, my aunt, mother and mother in law all while staying perfectly on schedule.
