In planning for a destination wedding I found it hard to get people to respond to my inquerys; that was until I found Kim and her staff at Dine by Design in Florida. Within ten minutes of sending an email I recieved a call back and we began planning a menu that would please the masses.

We started our planning way back in March and at one point I was worried that Kim was gunna tell me to get lost because we kept changing everything around week to week...but that wasnt the even close to what happened! Kim never ceased to amaze me in her willingness to help out and make sure that everything was absolutly perfect!

The food was to die for. From the hour derves to the entrees everything was just perfect. We ordered a lavish fruit and cheese display, shrimp cocktail and loved the fact that the tails were already taken off (much easier for clean-up), crab cakes, and my favorate the chicken cigars. After the cocktail hour, I was thinking how can it get any better...Well it did! We had a wild island boar, jerk chicken, a black bean and rice salad, and a tossed salad that had my taste buds going crazy!!!! All of our guests were pleasently pleased, as some of them are hard to lease I was excited that Kim got it right for everyone.

I also want to give a big hand to her staff. I have worked in the food and beverage industry for almost ten years now and I have never worked with a staff that truly just had it all going on! I would love to mention names, Kim knows who they are!

All and all I dont think that you can go wrong in any way shape or form with going with Dine by Design! From the very beginning of planning stages until the staff cleaned up (leaving the kitchen cleaner than they found it), everything was perfect. Kim and staff we thank you so very much for all that you did inorder to make their special day all that more special and less stressful!!

My husband and I were truly blessed to have Dine by Design provide the catering in our Seaside wedding. They responded to all of our emails in a timely manner and it was a joy working with them when discussing our menu options! Their staff was extremely friendly to all of our guest and even catered to all the bride and grooms needs during the reception. Their food was absolutely amazing and delicious! We had a seafood and asian-filipino inspired menu.... and all our guests were delighted and wanted second or THIRD helpings to the buffet!
I would gladly work with them again in the future.

Kim was great to work with, very easy going. Her food was fabulous! I had so many compliments regarding the food, saying it was the best food they ever had at a wedding. The mac n cheese pops and crab cakes were the best. Also, the shrimp with the patron shots were a hit. Everything was so good and her staff was great!

I cannot say enough good things about Kim and Design by Design!! The food was fabulous, both in quality and presentation and the staff was helpful and professional. I live in PA, my daughter, the bride, lived in Tallahassee and the wedding was in Destin...planning the wedding was no easy feat! Kim made everything so easy, and was always prompt in answering my many questions. When putting together the menu, our choices were limitless!!! From traditional to very unique selections. We had so many compliments on the food!! Dine by Design is THE wedding caterer to choose!!

Working with Kim was a wonderful experience. She put up with many e-mails from me until we arrived on a menu. The resulting meal was delicious! Her service staff were also friendly and helpful with the setup on the big day. Would definitely recommend!

By far this was the easiest decision throughout the entire planning process! Kim and her team are outstanding in every way. The food was amazing - to the extent that people are still talking when they gloat to others who couldn't join us for the wedding. The mac and cheese lollipops are legendary, don't miss them! Kim is a true professional, quickly responding to the few questions I had and anticipating issues and solutions before they became issues. She is such a pleasure to work with and we're looking forward to crashing the next event she caters when we're back in town! :)

We were so pleased with the fun-loving, professional, helpful, and flexible Kim. Our tasting gave us a look into what we could expect at the wedding reception. We changed one entree, and were very happy with the results of that change. Everything from pre-wedding drinks to buffet was delicious. Everyone from the vegetarians to the hard core carnivores was delighted.

This was a rehearsal dinner and we wish that Dine by Design had done the main event. They came into a beach house and set up unobtrusively. they responded to requests from the mother of the groom and each of the invited guests. We were delighted!

I fell in love with Dine by Design from the start when I read their unique menu ideas and yummy food. Kim was WONDERFUL to work with. We emailed so frequently, and she helped answer all the questions I had as an inexperienced bride. She helped us come up with a menu that perfectly fit our no-fuss comfort food style.
The food was phenomenal! All of our guests kept commenting on how delicious it was. Her staff was friendly and helpful. This is, without a doubt, the best caterer in the area!

Dine by Design did an amazing job catering our wedding. We met with Chef Kim and she listened to what we generally had in mind for our guests. We had DBD do stations, including bbq and churrasco, and our guests absolutely loved it (especially the bbq). They were attentive and efficient the day of, and I am so happy with the result. Chef Kim is also so easy to work with and was very responsive during the whole planning process.

Given the diverse age range of guests along with all their discerning tastes, everything from the Memphis Martinis to the Tequila Shrimp was a hit! Presentation was colorful and unique - setup, service was smooth & flawless. Staff was exceptionally accommodating!!! Highly recommended!!

Dine by Design’s food and presentation is top notch. All of the items served at our wedding reception were superb however the Grits River is what everyone was raving about! Yum!
In addition to their great service, my Groom and I were surprised to find that we would have a personal attendant to tend to all of our food and beverage needs throughout the reception. Tex, our sweet attendant, was extraordinary! He allowed us to mix and mingle with our guests but would check in at any point our glass was getting low or would simply just bring us a refill without us ever having to ask! Just Tex himself should get 5 stars!!

Kim at Dine By Design was wonderful to work with. Her food selection and menus are very diverse. She has something for every one and if you dont see it on there, she is willing to work with you to create exactly what you want. Her food speaks for itself. At the end of the night, every one was raving about how we had the best food at any wedding reception they have ever been to!

First off, let me say our food was EXCELLENT. Dine by Design came so highly recommended that we opted to not have a tasting due to the expense and lack of availability on our part so there was always a bit of hesitation in the back of my mind on how the day would actually turn out but it was everything we hoped it would be. Kim went back and forth with us multiple times to help us get the right menu in the right budget. Her staff was on time and professional and did an excellent job on the wedding day. The reception was held in my sister in law's very expensive top of the line kitchen and she was thrilled at how clean and neat they left everything when they were finished. Every table we visited during the wedding told us how amazing our food was. We had a live action paella station, a pasta station with 3 different sauces, grilled veggies and grilled chicken and a masted potato bar with beef tenderloin. The only thing I wish had been better was the coordination with the rental company. We had to coordinate the rentals through Kim and our wedding planner and it took FOREVER to get final quotes that were correct. I didn't fault Dine by Design too much for that, though, because I believe it was the rental company who dropped the ball. We paid for the wedding ourselves and didn't have a final quote until 6 days before the wedding. By the wedding day all that stress was forgotten, though, and the food was just fantastic. Also, the bartender was excellent! He had a great personality and really added to the evening. Look no further for a great caterer for your event. You won't be disappointed!!

Working with Kim at Dine by Design was amazing. When we first met Kim, she was direct and to the point, yet also creative and fun. It was the perfect mix we were looking for! She was able to come up with unique ideas, such as serving pirogues since my husband's side of the family is Polish, while providing options that fell within our budget. The food was delicious; I wish I could've ate more! My husband and I have joked that next time we're in town we will have to order 2 servings of our wedding menu again.
I would recommend working with Dine by Design to anyone who is looking for delicious food and a flexible, creative caterer.
