We love the venue! We recently had our wedding here (04/26/14) and everyone in our party said that the place was cozy and intimate and perfect for our occasion. Everything was amazing from start to finish. The food was out of this world, delicious! The wait staff was very, very attentive and extremely friendly.

The manager, Amy, was extremely professional and went out of her way to make sure that our special day was perfect! Our guests also loved Amy and frequently complimented her and her staff as well as the venue. Amy took it upon herself to go above and beyond to make sure all of the little details that may have otherwise gone overlooked were taken care of. Words can’t express how grateful my husband and I are to have met Amy. Amy is AWESOME!!

This was out rehearsal dinner on the 14th. Jennifer was great to work with. She helped point us in the right direction as far as our desires for the rehearsal dinner were concerned. We worked out an awesome menu and drink selection for a very reasonable price. The venue was fabulous. The service was top notch. And of course the food was spectacular.

The Great Events Center is an absolute beautiful venue. Our wedding reception is one that will definatley be talked about among family and friends. Everyone raved about it. The lighting/decor was awsome and was roomy enough for all 100 guests. Sherri Tarabick and assistants do an amazing job of presenting the Great Events Center. I couldn't have asked for any better.

We threw a CD Release Party here in August, about 70 people came. Unique venue, we put the band on an outdoor deck area overlooking the pool with the audience across from the pool. Really cool effect with lighted pool at night. We ran some videos on a HUGE screen inside, all HD. Very impressive. The staff was very helpful and professional. The food was pretty m uch incredible, never been to the restaurant, but if it's the same chef then the restaurant must be awesome.

This venue is top notch! We had our reception here and our guests were SO impressed. Chef Tim Creehan even showed up! MaryBeth is awesome to work with. She really knows how to plan a great meal and will work with your budget. The food was amazing. I wish I could relive it all over again!

I used this location for my reception and it was perfect! Setting up and organizing the event was a pleasure and the final reception was more beautiful than I could have imagined. It was perfect for my 75 person wedding. It provided an intimate and unique setting for the reception and the service was excellent. Last, but certainly not least, the food was amazing! Everyone was raving about the grouper.

This is wehre i had my reception. This place is amazing!!!! The only complaint I would have would be that it stayed open later so that you continue the party a little longer!!

We used there services for our rehearsal dinner and wedding reception. My mother-in-law has no complaints form her end. There were a few times I had trouble getting questions answered or a response at all during the planning process. The day of our wedding went well. The food was good, especially the lamb lollipops. The bigest complaint I would have is we ran out of food. I was told that we would have plenty of food, especailly since it was around $30 per person for the heavy appetizer meal. But we didn't have enough food, there was only a few things left when my husband and I went through the line for a few seconds. A few of our guest who where taking pictures didn't have much food to choose from when they went through the line. I would reccomend them though, just make sure they are clearer to you about how much food they actually provide.

The food was excellent, I couldn't have had a better menu for the wedding. Everyone loved the choices we made.
The place was a little too small though. We had over 90 guests and it was a little too crowded. The dance floor was a bit too small. I had to order more chairs on top of the contract cost and make sure you read the contract before you sign.
If you are only going to have around 50 guests you should be ok.

Cold food, undercooked chicken, half table waiting for food while others had been served. Total chaos in serving method. Staff seemed confused. Embarrassed, horrified MOB after getting feedback from guests. We went with Cuvee even though they are much more expensive than alternatives because we wanted fabulous Tim Creehan food & experience. MOB has shed many tears.
If you have a small party and can have you event at their venue, it may be perfect. As off site caterer even with full kitchen it was a total failure.
