Cristi was an absolute blast to work with and was even up for climbing into a creek for some of our wedding shots! We could not be happier with our engagement and wedding photos.

I can't say enough wonderful things about Cristi and her amazing gift of photography. My first experience with Cristi was for our engagement pictures. My fiance and I had just bought our first home and were completely renovating it. We thought it would be fun to have part of our engagement session in the middle of our demoed house. Cristi was of course game! I was a little nervous how our pictures would turn out since we were surrounded by ladders, concrete, and plastic tarps. I couldn't believe how incredible our pictures turned out! She has such an amazing eye that she found a way to turn our house into the perfect backdrop for a photo session. We can now always remember this special time in our lives. The second half of our session was taken outside in an outdoor art and shopping district. She again found the most amazing spots for pictures. Every picture is a piece of art!
For our wedding I again didn't make things easy for Cristi. With a New Year's Eve wedding, we had to battle both the cold and the dark. Once again, Cristi captured the feel of the night and the special moments between friends and family. Her creativity, artistic eye and patience all make for the ideal photographer.

Cristi Owen is not only a very talented photographer but also an amazing person. One of the reasons my wedding was the best day of my life was because she was a part of it! I had no doubt in my mind that she would take truly magical pictures but she also gave me one of the greatest gifts of all, my pictures and memories. Cristi Owen was an amazing asset to my wedding. She always responded to my requests in a timely fashion. It was so great that she wanted to get to know "us" as a couple in order to capture us in the most natural way. My husband and I had three key qualities in mind when we interviewed photographers for our November 2009 wedding ... Creativity, Budget/Cost and, most importantly pictures that told our "story" for a lifetime.

When first meeting Cristi Owen, we discovered an excellent portfolio of weddings she has photographed, which told each couples story from the moment we saw the pictures. Her breakdown and cost structure is not "bundled" or "packaged" with things we didn't want, and the itemized cost structure let us pick and chose exactly what we wished for and even gave us extra room to do a little more!

Cristi's creativity was visible from the beginning and her professionalism, support and advice was more than I could have asked for from a photographer. Cristi quickly became an instrumental part of our wedding party and someone I turned to multiple times for advice and feedback. Cristi was always quick to respond, make herself available and take each of my questions or concerns with a smile. She provided valuable feedback and options but was always quick to remind me that it was "our" choice and she would make it work no matter what!

I have received more compliments from family, friends, colleagues and guests for our engagement and wedding photos than I could have ever imagined. Cristi blew away our expectations when we saw her work shortly after our wedding day and every time we look at our photos we see the same people but the pictures tell us a new and special story every time!

Cristi Owen is a remarkable artist. She creates beauty from seemingly "ordinary" events. Cristi is able to transform a busy street corner or rustic home into a modern stage. While Cristi has an eye for the creative, she also honors the couple's personality in each photograph. She encourages couples to be unique and to cultivate their interests on film.

On September 12th, my husband and I were married. Cristi flew with us to St. Louis to "tell" our story. She was thoughtful, caring and very organized. While WE felt the "tugs" of appointments, vendors, family and friends; Cristi remained light-hearted, flexible and professional. On our wedding day, Cristi used her camera to capture the most important moments of our life . . . without words.

I honestly can't say a bad thing about Cristi. She was phenomenal, and more helpful and attentive than I could have asked for. The pictures were amazing, everyone who saw them was amazed at how good they turned out. She captured every moment perfectly, even little things that I never would have thought someone besides me would have noticed. She was professional, and never got in the way of the ceremony or reception just to get a shot. We also had her take engagement photos a few weeks before the wedding.
