We used J.Fiereck for our engagement and wedding photos. This was by far the BEST decision we could have made in this entire wedding process (aside from marrying each other!). Jen was more than willing to be flexible and change our engagement session to more of a half engagement/half family photo session because we wanted to include my 9 year old step son. We were nervous about having pictures taken of us because we are not used to the attention being on us, and didn't want things to seem posed. But from the minute we arrived at our engagement shoot, we knew we had made the right decision--she made us feel comfortable immediately and even got the 9 year old to laugh and smile when he was clearly nervous.

Our wedding day went so smoothly, thanks in large part to Jen and the itinerary she made for us after our site visit. We chose to do a First Look and she helped to choose the most picturesque location and made sure that it was an intimate moment between us where we didn't even feel like she was even there. During the cocktail hour and reception, every time I found myself thinking 'this would be a great picture', I would turn around and Jen or Brandi were already there taking pictures-it's like they anticipated and read our minds!

We have not even seen our photos yet, and I still cannot say enough great things about Jen and her entire team. They helped to make our day absolutely PERFECT and we cannot wait to be able to relive the best day of our lives over and over again through the moments she was able to capture with her beautiful photos.

The best decision we made for our wedding day (besides each other) was hiring JFiereck to take our photos! After our very first meeting with Jennifer we could tell right away that the fit was perfect!

Jen met us the fall before our wedding to take engagement photos in the park where my husband proposed. My husband is notoriously statue-like in posed photos, and I’m no portrait model myself, so naturally we were both anxious about the appointment. There was absolutely no need to be! Jen knew exactly how to give gentle hints here and there without us ever feeling posed. To this day my husband and I will look at each other and request “smooches!!”, smiling at the memory of the awesome time we had with Jen taking those shots!

We asked Jen to shoot our Madison Beach Hotel wedding and reception with a fellow shooter and assistant (shout out to Ashley and Kassandra!) because we wanted to be able to capture more than one perspective at any given moment. Jen and her team were prompt, and just as excited as us on our wedding day! The team captured every emotion throughout the day, seeming to move completely intuitively and in sync with my husband and I. They were able to easily wrangle our massive number of family members into taking all the photos we wanted prior to the ceremony (easing the extreme type A personality of mine). Jen even worked with us to beautifully capture a small surprise for our guests: a fire spinner!

We are so immensely happy with the photos we received just a short time after our wedding. We love looking back at all the moments, small or large, that Jen was able to capture for us. We will certainly cherish the memories for the rest of our lives, and are lucky to be able to do so through the talented work of JFiereck. Thank you so much! - Melanie & Andrew

We were incredibly happy with our decision to use J. Fiereck Photography for our engagement photos and wedding. Jen made us comfortable from the moment we first met and continued to help us every step of the way. We felt like she was much more than what we expected of our photographer, her wedding knowledge and overall professionalism helped to guide us through the details of wedding planning and ensure the day went smoothly. With that said, most importantly, her photography was also amazing. She captured every special moment, kiss, laugh and everything in between. We also feel that she included all the types of photos we asked for and then surprised us with some magazine cover worthy shots I could have never imagined. Brandi assisted Jen on our big day and was a wonderful asset and very talented as well. We were grateful for the whole J. Fiereck team and intend to use and refer Jen for any future needs.

Working with Joanne was a pleasure, we aren't big for pictures or being the center of attention and from the engagement photos on we knew Joanne would be very easy to work with and on the wedding day we barely knew she was there. The photos came out great and it was a pleasure working with her.

We had Joanne Vandal, the associate photographer, and Brandi Cross shoot our wedding for us. I am so impressed with the quality of the pictures and how quickly they were available to us! Joanne and Brandi did a great job of not only making us look good, but really capturing who my husband and I are in the pictures. The photos made us look better than I could have imagined! Another thing I appreciated is that during the reception, I could hardly tell they were there- allowing us to just enjoy ourselves and not worry about anything. Joanne was also very flexible with any changes we made and made us feel comfortable. I would definitely recommend this vendor.

I love love LOVE Jen. Her personality and down-to-earth attitude made her an ABSOLUTE delight to work with. From our first meeting with her we just clicked right away. Her love and passion for photography makes me want to be a photographer! She is very flexible with negotiations for her packages and returned all emails/calls within 24 hours. While we do not have our pictures back just yet, our package included two photographers and one assistant, so I cannot imagine that they missed anything and captured every single moment. She showed up on time and was exactly where I needed her to be all night. I was so sad when it came time for her to leave! We also booked our photo booth through Jen as she does have a package for that, which includes an attendant. There were tons of props included in the photo booth and I actually ended up using a second print from it for people to make into our guest book.

Jen, Brandi and Andrea did an excellent job for our wedding photos. Jen was responsive, flexible, professional and above all else just a great person to work with. I can't have imagined what I would have done without her calm and cheery attitude when I got a little stressed a couple times and she was there to help exceeding her job as a photographer. It was tough for me not having my mom who has passed present for little things on my wedding day that I know she would have helped with and Jen stepped right in. She bustled my dress when my sister didn't show up keeping me calm, and also re-pinned my hair where a couple curls were falling down. I'm forever grateful to these lovely ladies for being there to capture our day. Thank you!

Jen was incredible!! From our engagement photos to our wedding photos - she does amazing work! Our pictures were so creative and she captured a great picture of every important moment on the big day!
