We adored Valentino's! They were very understanding and flexible since we were planning from out of town. Photography was one of the most important parts of the wedding for me since at the end of the day, besides your memories, all you have are the pictures. They originally won me over due to their above and beyond packet they sent to me. I contacted quite a few photographers and most of them referred me to their website - how did they think I got their e-mail? Valentino's sent me a personalize packet with real pictures they have previously taken at the two venues we were using! Not only did this give us an idea of the quality of their work but also the quality of paper they use, etc. They took the extra time to make it personal and send us information and that made all the difference. This quality was again reflected when we met with Scott prior to the wedding and the day of the wedding. Scott was wonderful to work with - there were moments when he knew we were getting tired or sick of smiling and he knew it was hot but was always able to lighten the mood and make us laugh. He was friendly with everyone but was very task oriented and made sure that we were on time and getting the pictures we wanted. We were thrilled to work with him and CANNOT wait to see our proofs.

I must be one of the worst people to photograph. I've always hated pictures, and never know how to look right in them. I was really frustrated that I had to find a photographer for our wedding, but knew I'd be thankful I did later. So, to be honest, I went to ~30 websites for photographers within 50 miles of South Bend, and only found two that started under $3,000, so those were the two I contacted. But Bruce turned out to be great! I liked him as soon as I met him - he's very easy to talk to, and has great ideas about how to make a shot look good and suggestions for interesting shots. He got me brainstorming, and we ended up doing a cool photo-guestbook with pictures of my husband and I being "in love", which was quite reasonably priced, and it gave me a chance to see some of the pictures he took before the wedding. Anyway, the pictures turned out great. He had an assistant come, and they got good shots. Our bridal and groom parties were very comfortable with them. We bought the rights to the pictures, so we put all 2,000+ of them on our website for people to download and share, which is awesome. The photoshop-editing is good, and he picked good pictures to do Sapia tone. The one thing that I would have done differently is to have allowed more time to pictures before the wedding. I wanted to go off-site (so we wouldn't have all garden-y pictures), but didn't plan enough time to do glamour shots, as well, so we had to do those during the reception. Well, live and learn.

We cannot say enough good things about Gabby! She took photos for our wedding; she her team took the best care of us on and even leading up to our wedding day. She and her team are so organized and responsive! She asks for a photo list in advance to make sure she captured everything we were hoping to. She was so kind to FaceTime at my request and talk through the photo timeline for the day. On wedding day, she and her team arrived on time and fully prepared. Ever feel like you have no idea how to pose for photos? Well, worry no more! Gabby helped us feel so comfortable and coached us through exactly how to stand. She also made sure to incorporate any shots I decided I wanted even though it was day-of. Overall, Gabby and her team were so uplifting and a joy to work with. Not to mention I get to keep the beautiful photos forever! She sent me the full gallery less than one month after the wedding. We HIGHLY recommend Gabby and her team to those looking for a photographer you can truly trust. She will capture the vision you have for your day, it's worth every penny!

Micah went above and beyond all expectations we had for our wedding pictures! Although our day was fast paced, he still took the time to make sure we got the pictures we wanted and plenty of candids of our family and friends. Our personalities and those of our family and friends can be seen in the pictures he captured. He worked very well with my camera avoidant husband and impatient groomsmen as well. I can’t recommend Micah enough as a photographer for any occasion!!
