We couldn’t be happier with our decision of working with Corinne and Amber from What a Day! Photography for our destination wedding! We first met with Amber at our wedding venue, the Moana Surfrider in Waikiki, a year before our wedding. From the moment that we met her, she made us feel so comfortable and confident in their work by answering our endless list of questions with her professionalism and warm smile. She really took the time to get to know us and how we met, and allowed us to get to know her as well. We knew instantly that we were in good hands! We met Corinne when she and Amber flew out to our hometown of San Francisco to photograph our engagement session. They did such a fantastic job of capturing us in our element in the most beautiful settings that we didn’t realize existed. During their stay, we felt like we became family with these two incredibly talented and sweet ladies!

Leading up to our wedding, Corinne and Amber were absolutely wonderful with communication and even helped us by recommending our florist and videographer, whom we loved as well! The entire process of planning our destination wedding went so smoothly because of their help. The wedding day itself was a dream, and their photographs captured everything we felt and experienced that day to the next level!

Throughout our experience with What a Day!, we were so excited to see our engagement photos featured on their blog and have access to many of the shots to share with our family and friends. The engagement photo book, wedding album, and parent albums came out so beautifully and we will treasure them for the rest of our lives!

Capturing the moment without the feeling of anything being staged was really important to us and pretty much the only ask we had of the photographer who we chose to do our wedding. We decided to go with What a Day! Photography from some reliably high recommendations and so glad we did. They really engaged the natural setting of the location of our Hawaii wedding and made most of the pictures just seem like we happen to be in the middle of the picture. We wanted the feeling of seamless impressionism and that’s exactly what we got. We were so happy to have been lucky enough to score What a Day! photography. I can honestly say that working with What A Day was everything I had hoped for in our wedding photographer. From the very beginning, Corinne answered all our questions (there were a lot!) and she was so patient with us. Shooting our engagement was really fun! She had a ton of really great ideas, and got some super creative and unique shots of us. Being the subjects of a shoot can feel weird for newbies, (like us) but she was so great at making us feel comfortable, and making us laugh, that we forgot we were being photographed! Our pictures came out exactly the way I had hoped they would. Not posed and cheesy but real! And reflective of me and bryan as a couple. :)

Amber and Corinne were both amazing at our wedding too! They were prompt, accommodated us by driving to two separate locations since the bridal party split up before the wedding, were quick but very efficient.. Got all the shots, beautiful and creative ones and were amazing at directing everyone in all the wedding day chaos like the pros they are.

We loved having What A Day photograph our special day!!! And we are soooo happy with the way everything turned out. They were super professional, very responsive to emails and texts, really fun to work with, and most importantly we were beyond ecstatic with both our engagement and wedding photos in the end!

I love the style of What A Day! Photography--sun drenched, unique, the way they enhance the natural beauty of anything they photograph. Couldn't be happier that we chose them as our wedding photographers. Corinne and Amber photographed our special day and spent about 8 hours with us all. They captured so many lovely photos that it was hard to choose the right ones for our wedding album. Guess I have to make another! The ladies are wonderful to work with, and really listen to your style and your needs for the wedding (they even ask to take a look at your Pinterest boards!). I love how they put in extra effort to understand you and your groom's style before even taking a single photo. Corinne and Amber did such an amazing job photographing our wedding. We are very happy with our photos and couldn't ask for a better team to photograph our special day! I really loved how involved they were leading up to the day of our wedding. Our consultation and emails with them really showed us that they wanted to make sure our day was going to be flawless. They were amazing from the begining until the end. My guests also commented on how much they loved our photographers! Corinne and Amber are both very sweet and talented photographers. From their beautiful photos online and upon meeting Amber, we knew right away that the team at What A Day! would capture all of our important moments and make them picture perfect. Amber and Casey photographed our wedding in November 2013. While I might have been slightly frayed and nervous, they were so sweet and patient and easy to work with that I'd recommend them for that alone! But we received our photos a couple of months later and it was clear that the team at What A Day! is just as talented as they are kind. My husband and are very grateful to have worked with them!
