Are you willing to perform a ceremony at a non-religious site?
Absolutely. Choosing the right location for your wedding is an important factor. Not only will the location you choose reflect your personality but it expresses a wedding message to your guests.
Are you flexible in the wording used throughout the ceremony, including the vows?
Yes, and in fact I encourage the bride and groom to assist with creating their vows. For those couples who don't know how to express themselves in words, I can create custom vows through getting to know the couple well in advance of the wedding.
Do you allow the couple to write their own vows, if desired?
Absolutely! How better to express yourself to the one you love by speaking from your heart.
Do you have a list of readings pre-selected, from which the couple must choose?
Yes, I have many sample readings that a couple and wedding participants can choose from. These readings will be provide in advance of the wedding so everyone can become familiar with them.
Do you require that premarital counseling be done?
No, but I'm free to assist in anyway possible. Marriage is one of the most wonderful experiences that life has to offer. I've been married for 21 years to the love of my life and truly believe in the institution of marriage.
Are you willing to perform pre-ceremony rehearsals?
Yes, and in fact I recommend it. Becoming familiar with the wedding procession, readings, bridal party placement and ceremony flow is very important. Familiarity with the event prior to the big day, will put the entire wedding party at ease. This allows everyone to totally enjoy this special day!
