I can’t say enough about James Manuel! If you’re looking for an officiant he’s your guy!! Since first contacting Jim he put my wife and I at ease. Not only is he a true professional, but he loves what he does, and because of that our ceremony couldn’t have been more perfect. Don’t think twice, and make the call! I can't say enough about our positive experience with Ed from We Marry U. From our very first meeting we knew that Ed would be a perfect fit for us. He is so warm and friendly; you instantly feel comfortable with him.
He put together a beautiful ceremony that was personal and very touching. All of our guests raved about how moving it was.

Highly highly recommend Jim!
Highly highly recommend Jim as your officiant. He was extremely knowledgable on the process, as well as easy to connect with to cater the ceremony to you and your partners desires. Jim was extremely flexible in taking on our ceremony less than 4 weeks out from the date, which we are forever grateful for. He has married many couples within our social circle and we could not have chosen a better officiant!

Ed met with my mother and I and we knew he would be a wonderful officiant. We felt like we knew him but had only just met him. He also had a few Skype meetings with my husband and I to get all the details down. He made our ceremony perfect. He made sure we received our marriage license. Thanks Ed!

Jim from WeMarryU was the perfect officiant! He was very easy to talk to, open to new ideas, and helped us create a personal and touching ceremony when we were at a loss. He had great ideas for ways that we could personalize a ceremony, and he loved the story of how we met so much that he told it as part of our ceremony. Many of our guests told us how they loved hearing that, since many knew one of us or the other, and didn't really know how we came to be a couple. We wouldn't have even thought to incorporate something like that if it weren't for Jim!

Jim Manuel was the officiant at my October wedding. He actually was referred to my husband and I through a friend of ours. When we met with him we both knew that we wanted him to marry us. He was so personal, professional, well spoken and really listened to us during our first meeting. He worked diligently to perfect our ceremony with several drafts going back and forth between us in email. I truly appreciate how he listened to what we wanted and made our ceremony absolutely perfect! He met us at our venue, which was in Lake George, so that we could go through the ceremony the day before our wedding. I felt as though he genuinely cared about helping us to feel more comfortable. Jim even helped me to keep my veil out of my face when it was swept up by the wind on our wedding day! I highly recommend both officiants at WeMarryU.

No stress, fun to work with, made it easy!
Jim responded to my request instantly. We hopped on a zoom call, and booked the date! He had everything ready to go, told me exactly what we needed to do to he ready, and was able to accommodate a last minute rehearsal. I will absolutely recommend him to anyone getting married in NY!

Very good wedding officiant!
Jim, was a very professional, responsive, and courteous officiant. We were roughly 7 months from our wedding and still hadn’t found an officiant, after we found him he was very quick to respond. If things were going awry he always new what to say to throw in a little humor to make things go better and he had a great friendly personality to begin with. Over the months we talked very frequently and Jim helped us to create a beautiful ceremony that we will never forget.

Amazing Experience!
Jim Manuel was such a pleasure to work with for our wedding! From our very first call, he made us feel comfortable and walked us through the marriage process. We exchanged many emails as he worked tirelessly to make sure our ceremony was personalized and tailored to us. He also gave us multiple religious and non-religious options which made the whole process less overwhelming. During our wedding day, we got so many compliments on our ceremony! He was loud enough for everyone to hear, and he enunciated very well. He also took care of all the paperwork afterwards, which was such a relief! We couldn’t be happier with having Jim as our officiant and would recommend him to anyone on their wedding day!

Ed was amazing to work with. Every single one of our guests commented on how beautiful the ceremony was and how much love they felt throughout the room. From the rehearsal to the ceremony, everything was stellar and organized. Ed was also so helpful and professional with us throughout the pandemic and the 4 postponements we had. He was responsive and went above and beyond for us and our wedding party in general. He allowed us to review the ceremony, make edits, and gave us suggestions when we weren’t sure what was best. We can’t say enoughi positive things about him and highly recommend him for all future wedding couples!

Booked Jim Manuel from WeMarryU to be the officiant at our wedding after meeting with 3 other venders in the area... Thank goodness we did! He was incredibly easy to work with and was able to move meetings in the planning stages to match our somewhat hectic schedules, while ensuring that we had exactly the ceremony we were looking for - one with a bit more of a personal touch.
Included in our ceremony were 2 readings from family members, a wine ceremony and a completely custom "wine cork" ceremony. When we asked Jim to come up with custom language for the cork ceremony, he was able to deliver exactly the sentiment that we were looking for, seamless tying it together with the rest of the ceremony.
Jim's skill and experience really helped us throughout the process. He made sure we focused on the important details, was there the night before for the rehearsal (so we would get it right!) and even made needed recommendations on our vows - advice we were looking for and appreciated!
We couldn't be happier with the way our day went, and Jim helped make the ceremony truly memorable. We have received many comments from our guests on how beautiful and intimate the ceremony was... Thanks Jim!

Jim was awesome! He was super friendly and very easy to work with. He met us at a place close to where we live so we didn't have to travel far. He explained everything and sent multiple revised copies of his speech so we knew exactly what he was going to say. I (bride) got to write up a little blurb of "our story" so he could include information of how my husband and I met and our journey together. He made sure there were no surprises and all questions were answered. Highly recommend!

We couldn’t have had a more perfect officiant!
We had the absolute pleasure of working with Jim as our officiant, and we truly couldn’t imagine anyone better! From the very beginning, Jim was attentive and genuinely listened to what we wanted for our ceremony. He took the time to ask us about our love story and then beautifully incorporated it into the ceremony, making it feel so personal and meaningful. On the wedding day, Jim was not only wonderful with us, but also so warm and friendly with our families and friends! He crafted a ceremony that was the perfect balance of heartfelt, emotional moments and lighthearted humor, exactly what we had hoped for. He even remembered I mentioned being emotional and had tissues ready in his pocket! Even now, weeks later, our guests are still telling us how amazing the ceremony was. Jim made it deeply personal and memorable, and he played such a huge role in making our day as special as it was. We are so so grateful for him!!

Ed from wemarryu.com performed our ceremony and he was WONDERFUL. We had a simply ceremony in my parents backyard with our closest 130 or so family and friends. Ed put both me and my husband at ease, and performed a beautiful ceremony (as many of our guests commented on). I must admit, I had trouble finding an official. Some of the most highly recommended ones were well over $600, which did not even include rehearsal attendance. I am so lucky to have found Ed and wemarryu.com. I would highly recommend this company.

We were fortunate enough to work with Jim from We Marry U for our wedding last month. My husband and I met with Jim early in the planning process and knew pretty much immediately that he was the right person for the job. We were looking for a non-religious but meaningful ceremony. We wanted it to feel personal and custom but really had no idea where to begin. The options we found online were overwhelming!
Jim provided us with a ton of ideas and suggestions to help ensure the ceremony was meaningful for us, our family, and our guests. Also, because he knew we wanted to be involved in the crafting of the ceremony he gave us a ton of samples for opening and closing statements/prayers, readings, and vows. (Though the manner he provided them make it much easier to swallow!) Using what he provided (plus a few readings found online once we had a better idea of what we liked/didn’t like) we were able to come with a ceremony that we loved.
In the days following the wedding, we had many guests (regular church go-ers, cousins, friends from high school) comment on how special and personal they found the ceremony to be. People loved how Jim shared “our story” and thought he did an outstanding job of keeping things light and fun, yet meaningful at the same time. We would highly recommend Jim for anyone’s wedding. He was phenomenal!

WOW. How can you possible write a recommendation about the day that was so perfect! Jim Manuel was amazing throughout the entire process, from the initial meeting to follow up emails to keep us on track of what he needed. BUT the wedding was magnificent- he was personal, he was passionate- he was REMARKABLE! Jim made the ceremony flow smoothly while engaging the wedding guests and wedding partly alike. Ed was exactly what we were looking for! He was very flexible with planning our first meeting, easy to get in touch with and very comfortable to talk with. Planning a wedding from out of state was definitely a challenge but Ed put us at ease about the ceremony. He was extremely professional and had great ideas while also listening to our ideas and vision for the big day. Going into the initial meeting we really weren't sure exactly what we were looking for in a ceremony and he was able to offer many different options. Ed wrote a beautiful ceremony that captured everything we wanted! He was even able to incorporate a custom unity ceremony and a wine box ceremony (which was new to him)! Ed made sure that we were happy with each and every word of the ceremony in advance of the big day. Working with Ed was a joy and the price was very reasonable! I would highly recommend him! He most certainly knows how to put the couple, wedding party and families at ease. He has every detail planned yet knows how to go with the flow such as the groom ending the ceremony before cue and walking off with the bride!! Instead of being flustered by the unexpected gesture Ed went right along with it and even told us it was one of the best endings he's experienced. It was definitely a first for him and he handled it with humor and professionalism! Thank you Ed!!

Not only did Jim do an amazing job at MY wedding, he also did an amazing job at my sister's wedding 3 years ago! I first met Jim when I was my sister's Maid of Honor and even though I was still single that day, I told him that he'd be seeing me again on my wedding day. Well, I kept my promise! My husband and I couldn't have been happier with our decision. Jim really calmed me down and helped to get rid of my nerves. He is a pleasure to be around and work with. The best officiant around!
Jim is flexible, knowledgeable, and communicative. He made the ceremony brief, but very meaningful and memorable. Neither of us expected to cry, but when hearing Jim speak I burst out into tears! (Happy tears of course.) He knew to get out of the way for pictures, he spoke quickly because he knew we were freezing, and was very considerate of what we wanted! He also worked very well with our other vendors to plan out the perfect ceremony. I highly recommend!

He was our officiant at our wedding this weekend- and from the very start we knew we made the right choice- he made it so easy to personalize and create the ceremony perfect for us- checked in as needed, very responsive to emails and always there to help - he made sure to coordinate well with the staff at our venue and with our DJ to make sure our ceremony went flawlessly and it did!! A wonderful experience!

Ed was our officiant for our Lake George wedding. We were impressed with his communication, service, and support throughout the whole process. Ed responded promptly to our emails and we scheduled a Skype date to meet Ed virtually since we were planning our wedding remotely. He clearly explained each step of getting our marriage license and we discussed and emailed in detail regarding the draft of our ceremony. Look no further for your officiant, hire Jim now! You will love him, your wedding party will love him, your parents will love him and your guests will love him! He’s definitely a savvy veteran with a great voice. Our guests kept saying how wonderful the ceremony was and that they actually paid attention to what was being said because Jim kept it interesting. On the logistical side of things, Jim was responsive and incredibly easy to work with. He promptly sent the signed marriage license the day after the ceremony. He will proof your vows if you decide to write them and make sure yours and your fiancée’s vows mesh (length and material). He’ll ask you to write a bit about your story as a couple (ie. How you met, the first date, a funny story, the engagement story, etc). We gave him quite a bit of material to work with and he made a great script from it. Jim also worked through a unity ceremony with us that he hadn’t done before and customized it to fit us. He’ll send his draft of the ceremony as soon as you send him all the material he needs. Don’t hesitate to make any suggestions; Jim will deliver a ceremony uniquely tailored to each of his couples. Look how fun our ceremony was. Go book Jim now! He’s a great guy who is knowledgeable and professional. You won’t regret it!

A Perfect Officiant for a Perfect Day
Ed from WeMarryU was fantastic at every stage of the process! We're still hearing comments from friends and family on how amazing the ceremony Ed put together was. Ed also had amazing ideas for several moments to add to our wedding (rose ceremony for mothers; sand unity ceremony) that were further big hits with us, our family, and our other guests. We are so glad that we went with Ed, as he kept us in the loop from the start with draft ceremonies and updates that really made us feel that much more comfortable on our big day.

Ed was our officiant. He was great. Very professional right from the beginning. He met us for our consultation, went over everything. He would email us our sayings and vows until we got exactly what we wanted. He even organized our rehersal the day before the wedding, and he was my eyes at the wedding telling me who was there, how many and what to expect. From our first meeting with Jim, we got so excited about how our ceremony was going to go because of all the ideas for special touches and personalization that Jim suggested. Jim from wemarryu exceeded all our expectations. Being that we weren't local, Jim set up a facetime with us to get to know us before we even booked. He wanted to know our story and we followed up with some information about us. Not too sure how we would use it, we were so happy when we saw the first draft. He included so many personal touches and really listened to any minor edits we had. He was professional & responsive and ahead of schedule which always made us feel comfortable. We could not be more grateful to Jim for officiating our wedding! We first met Jim via Skype (it was peak COVID at the time) and we could immediately sense his knowledge and confidence. Not only could we tell that he had ample experience, but his passion for helping couples during this special time in their lives was evident. Jim was so responsive and accommodating throughout the entire planning process. The ceremony that he wrote for us was so much more than we could have imagined and was personalized from start to finish. Ed was our officiant for our wedding in Lake George on 8/12/17. Being from out of the area, we trusted the list of preferred vendors from our venue to guide us in finding our officiant. We are so glad we did! The moment after we had our first Skype conversation with Ed, my husband and I were both 100% confident than Ed would create a beautiful and personal ceremony for us. He guided us through the marriage license process, made our readers feel comfortable with how they would participate with the ceremony, and overall helped us to know that everything would go smoothly. In the months leading to the wedding day, he worked with us over several drafts of the ceremony, included a stone unity ceremony that our guests loved, and helped to make last minute (the night before!) changes when one of our readers was unfortunately unable to attend due to an emergency. Our experience with Jim was amazing! From the moment I spoke to Jim on the phone I knew that he was going to make our day perfect. After postponing our venue due to the pandemic, Jim helped us create a vow renewal ceremony that recreated our readings from the previous year and was so special to us since we were able to have all our family and friends there that could not attend the previous year. Jim helped us plan a ceremony that captured us as a couple. Jim is so friendly and has a one of a kind personality, that is truly unforgettable. He arrived well before the ceremony to go over everything with us and answer any last minute questions that we had. Jim has a captivating voice and his presence is outstanding. All of our guests were instantly captivated when he started speaking, and continues to rave about him. Many that attended our wedding said that our ceremony was by far the best that they have ever been to and that it was so unique to other wedding ceremony's that they have attended. If you are looking for someone to make your wedding day truly unique and special, I cannot recommend enough that you should book Jim. We cannot thank Jim enough for making our day truly special!

Ed was very professional and did an excellent job. The ceremony was lovely and upbeat. I liked that the fact that it was short and to the point. We met only once to secure the date and discuss the details. Everything else was over email or text. Then COVID 19 hit and we had to change the date from June to August. That was easily moved without a problem. The week before the wedding Ed sent a marriage day check list. Reminding us to bring the marriage license! After the wedding, he mails the signed document and sends a tracking number for the marriage certificate. I had that in my mailbox in less then a week. I also have a PDF copy of the ceremony that was preformed, along with our vows.

Perfect ceremony!
Jim was our officiant for our 11/3 wedding. We chose Jim mostly because of the kindness and realness he showed us during our meeting roughly 2 years ago! We had Jim officiate our wedding and we couldn’t have been happier. He was extremely professional and worked with us to customize our ceremony to make it everything we could’ve hoped for. All of our family and friends commented on how amazing he was. I would highly recommend him!

Incredible Job!
My husband and I hired Jim for our May 2021 wedding and he did a phenomenal job. He was very professional, on time and walked us through every step of the process. He made us feel very comfortable as we said our vows and we also received many compliments from our guests about how much they enjoyed him. I highly recommend Jim and the WeMarryU team.

My husband and I cannot thank Jim enough for officiating our wedding. He was absolutely wonderful to work with. He helped guide us through all aspects of our wedding planning and truly made our ceremony beautiful. Jim was incredibly responsive and an excellent communicator. Jim is Great
Jim was the perfect addition to our wedding ceremony. Guests thought he was a family member, and we had only met once before the rehearsal! He was flexible in the format, and he performed his first Quaich with us!

Fantastic and Professional
Jim Manuel helped us have a beautiful ceremony. The rose ceremony was a special touch for the mothers. I would highly recommend Jim to marry you on your BIG day!! He was professional and responsive in the planning process.

Working with Ed was great! We met with him and he found out about our personalities and what we wanted for a ceremony. He and I emailed back and forth only a few times before we had what our guests ended up calling "the perfect ceremony that reflected us". Highly recommendations We Marry U.

Absolutely pick jim
Jim was fantastic, almost everyone of my guests complimented his service. This is what Jim is meant to do. Price was fair. He was kind. He offered guidance with choosing readings, writing vows, etc. I can't recommend him enough!

Best Wedding Officiant in the area!
We were so lucky to find Jim Manuel to officiate our wedding. He was super responsive to our inquiry and scheduled a video meeting for us to meet right away. We loved how Jim got to know us as a couple and asked lots of questions. By the time the wedding rolled around he was no longer a stranger to us and made our intimate wedding ceremony so beautifully done. We got many compliments from our guests afterwards. Highly recommend Jim and WeMarryU!

Perfect!!!
Our wedding plans changed 100 times over with the pandemic, including losing our wedding officiant who was a traveling guest. Jim was recommended by a friend and he accommodated us on very short notice. He was funny, friendly, efficient and so helpful and accommodating. We could not have been happier and recommend Jim 100%!!

Amazing Ceremony!
Jim was amazing and we are so happy we found him and chose him to officiate our wedding! From the moment we first spoke to Jim we felt like we’ve known him forever. He is professional, funny, welcoming, and well spoken. He was able to customize our ceremony with us and worked with us to make it our perfect day. He was great at helping us navigate the process and figure out what we wanted. He was on top of it! He came to our rehearsal the day before and gave our wedding party clear directions and words of advice. Everyone at our ceremony commented on what a beautiful job he did. 100 % recommend!

Ed wrote and delivered a beautiful and personalized wedding ceremony, which we received many wonderful compliments from our guests. He performed my sister and brother-in-law's wedding as well, and came highly recommended. Ed was very professional and responsive to questions and concerns. Jim is fantastic! He is professional and we could not have dreamed of a better ceremony. It was the perfect combination of traditional and personal. He has several options for customizing your ceremony, but will also integrate almost anything you can come up with for your day. He really goes the extra mile; our DJ lost his voice and Jim stuck around to announce the parents and wedding party (and did a fantastic job). We truly could not recommend him enough.

Jim is the best!
My husband and I were honored to have Jim marry us. We met with Jim in person prior to hiring him as our officiant and were so impressed with his knowledge and passion for what he does. We were extremely nervous about what our wedding ceremony would look like, but Jim broke it down and made it so easy. He encouraged us to include a commitment ceremony which was a HUGE hit with family and friends. All our guests were touched by the commitment ceremony and his readings. They all told us how beautiful our ceremony was. Jim was also so knowledgeable about the marriage license application process and answered all of our questions about it. Thank you, Jim, for really getting to know us as a couple. We would 100% recommend Jim to any couple looking for a wedding day officiant, he was outstanding!!!

Beautiful ceremony 9.22.20
Our original wedding plans changed due to COVID and we literally planned our ceremony to include just our immediate family in less than a week. Jim was extremely flexible, quick to respond, and helped us get the date/time we requested. We met with Jim a couple days prior to our ceremony and let me tell you, his warmness and kindness shined from the start. We felt extremely comfortable and as if we knew Jim all our lives. It was a beautiful ceremony and we wouldn’t change a thing. Thank you so much for being a part of our special day and making it so memorable.

Ed was fantastic!
Ed was great to work with! He wrote multiple versions of our ceremony and really took our feedback into consideration for each rewrite…. In the end we had the perfect ceremony that fit our personalities to a T. We received multiple compliments on our ceremony from our guests with many of them saying they had never heard one quite like it… which was exactly what we wanted!!!

Our experience with Jim was amazing from start to finish. He was friendly, helpful, knowledgeable, and helped us create the perfect ceremony tailored to us. Would definitely recommend
Jim was our officiant for our wedding. The first meeting we decided to go with him. Jim has an amazing personality and great sense of humor. You can tell he’s done so many weddings. He helped guide us through the planning process, answered any questions we had. He was very flexible, I was a last minute bride on a few ceremony details and Jim would just send me a new version of the ceremony with the changes very quickly. Nothing was a surprise in the ceremony, which I appreciated and he did a great job of giving us all the options for ceremony choices. Overall we are so grateful to have had Jim be such a huge part of our day! Thank you Jim!

Above our expectations
Ed made our wedding ceremony amazing! From the first time we met Ed, till the end of the ceremony, Ed put us at ease. He took so much stress off of us with his calming effect and his professionalism. Ed sent us a copy of the ceremony and we went with his suggestions. His suggestions and format for the ceremony were so much more than we ever expected.
