Just so you know, it took me forever to write this page. I think that is because weddings are my passion, and most certainly not writing about myself. I find comfort in lists (yep, I’m pretty organized and adore lists). So here’s my "about me" list:

- I say this, do this, and sincerely believe this: "Work hard, smile alot, and be very very nice".
- Laugh, laugh, laugh. I do it all the time. And I try to make others do it too. It makes the difficult boring stuff not so difficult and boring.
- I founded and own Weddings by Socialites.
- I’m married to a guy named Kelly. We have 2 awesome kids. No, they are not named Kelly.

There’s a reason why I’ve had so many great weddings at great wedding venues. There is a true value in having a wedding planner and designer, and I aim to prove this time and time again.  Our beliefs and a few facts about all of us at Weddings by Socialites:

- We’ve been "weddings" since 2003, but our events started long before that.

- All events are planned by me, Kelly McWilliams, and I have a team that works together for each seamless event. This isn’t "corporate" - I am your wedding planner, and I’m fortunate enough to have other people as passionate about as weddings as I am working alongside me. In other words; I take it personally.

- While we do have preferred wedding professionals, we’re happy to work with new ones that want to exceed your high standards as well.

- When we say customized, we mean it. No two weddings are alike. Not even close.

- We believe some traditions are great to include, some can be broken or excluded, and some are looking to be born.

- We believe in knowing our clients (relationship based planning) so that we can create a wedding that is a reflection of you.

- We believe in one great wedding after another, with nothing but love, laughs and celebrating. It’s all about an unforgettable experience.

Jen Adams & Associates, Inc.	I had the pleasure to work with this group this past weekend and they were top notch, friendly, helpful to all (clients as well as the rest of the staff team) and well, just a perfect setup. Kakes by Karen, LLC	I may need the entire website capacity to explain in detail how wonderful my experience with Kelly has been. Kelly is an amazing person and wedding coordinator. An extremely resourceful and creative coordinator, that will move heaven and earth to find what you are looking for. Her events are breathtaking and jaw droppers. I always LOVE and ENJOY working with Kelly...she knows how to give you that element of surprise, that detail you've never seen before. If you were to be expecting kids at your wedding, she has the cutest ideas to keep them entertained. If you have guests with special needs (i.e. allergies, etc.) she makes sure all of her vendors know to keep your guests safe ;-). Couples say of Kelly that at the end of their wedding planning journey, they feel like they've gained more than a friend...a family member. She makes you feel like you are at home even if you are planning a destination wedding. Her events are flawless and run always on time. On the vendor side, the communication is great! Kelly plans everything to the tee and I've never seen so many people cry of happiness...couples, guests, and vendors too :-). Yes, I've cried too when I see how happy our couples are and how because of Kelly, we've been given the opportunity to be part of such special events. How many planners do you work with? Kelly McWilliams plans all the weddings, and we have 3 associate coordinators on our team.

What style of wedding do you specialize in planning? The good kind. Kidding! We do all- from beach ceremonies and receptions to ballroom galas.

Do you support or cater to any specific cultures? Absolutely! Christian, Jewish, Persian, Commitment, Vow Renewal...you name it!

Do you support or cater to any specific religions? I appreciate all religions. If we haven't done it already, we'll learn everything it takes.

What sizes of weddings have you coordinated in the past? From 2 to 430 and everything in between.

This is key: Hire the best vendors (including a well established planner).
