David was absolutely amazing to work with! First off, he works out of the back "guest house" of his home, so he is not passing along the cost of rent for a studio and other overhead, as some other photographers do. We first met him at a bridal show, and enjoyed the personal feeling of all of his albums. It felt as if we had been at the wedding, and he seemed to capture the feeling really well. After our first meeting, we knew we wanted him to be our photographer. He was so kind and intentional in the questions he asked and comments he made.
He has some great packages, but also offers his services ala carte. We created our own package, and he has great deals (e.g. book 8 hours or more, and get a free engagement photo session - we weren't originally planning on doing engagement photos, but since it was free, we did it!). He was also really flexible, in that we didn't need him for 8 hours on our wedding day, so we asked if he'd cover an hour of our rehearsal - he agreed, at no extra cost for the multiple-day booking. He also gives all of the photos on CD, so no need to worry about the cost of ordering additional prints.
He was so flexible and patient with my busy schedule (although sometimes it took me a week to return his calls, if I ever left him a voicemail, I knew I could expect a call back that same day). David was also great about following up whenever he sent me emails, and he posted photos on the website very quickly. I would recommend Vivid Memories Photography in a heartbeat. He takes the stress out of the whole process and does great work!
