Tweed Weddings is a boutique film production company specializing in Super 8mm and Hi Def production.  Tweed was founded by Louis Sparre who began his career in NYC at MTV News, followed shortly by Grammy Nominated "3 on the Tree Productions," where he completed work for such great artists as Bruce Springsteen, Velvet Revolver, Pearl Jam, Tom Waits and others.  He also has worked as a shooter for the highly touted wedding video company, "Well Spun Weddings."  From 2006-2008 he was their primary shooter in NYC before he went on to start his own company.

Tweed Weddings was founded on the belief that wedding videos do not have to be cheesy and wedding videographers can capture the day successfully without causing discomfort to their subjects.  In other words, we don't need to be in your face all day with a bright light. All of our shooters utlilize a "fly-on-the-wall" style of shooting.  Our films are elegant, cinematic, and affordable.  Our turn around rates are extremely fast too so you don't have to sit around for months anxiously awaiting your footage.  Unlike other large video companies we work with very few shooters who have a wealth of experience in both the wedding business as well as more commercial niches such as TV spots, professional music videos and even feature films.  In addition to shooting most of the events, Louis Sparre does all of the editing and color correction himself.
