We are from Houston, Tx and decided we wanted a small intimate wedding in Puerto Rico, instead of a large ‘to do’ at home.
We chose Tropical Weddings as our event planners because Sari was always polite and quick to answer emails and phone calls. She possesses the innate ability that quelled all of our worries of having a tropical destination wedding. We found her mannerisms were laid back and she always had an answer for any of our concerns.
Sari helped in every phase of the planning. She made recommendations of vendors she has used and we were able to pay through a Pay-Pal account to each vendor. Not being a resident of Puerto Rico there are a few legal issues that must be overcome. Sari sent all of the paperwork and walked us through the steps necessary to have everything in place.
Sari and her husband, John, took us to the local government offices to get the signatures we needed. This took up about 15 minutes of our morning. They took us to the resort where we were to have the wedding ceremony and showed us locations for our wedding and places where we could take photos.
The day of the wedding there are people everywhere. To the uninitiated the house appears to be in chaos but the ever-vigilant Sari kept everyone calm and organized. John and Cameron did a spectacular job setting up the beach for the ceremony. The scene is better than we imagined and our wedding ceremony was beautiful.
John and Sari of Tropical Weddings made our dream of a destination wedding, a reality. They helped us in every aspect of planning, detail, and execution. Rarely it is said that people have a stress free wedding, but Tropical Weddings took all our concerns, worries, and burdens and tossed them by the wayside and made our wedding day truly spectacular, relaxing, memorable, and fun. When they say all their brides and grooms worry about is saying ‘I do’, they mean it.
