About Us
The creation of this Garden is more than a community beautification project. It is the creation of a community focal point; a place to celebrate the reconnection of the cycle of life of a blighted, economically distressed community. It will attack the negative image that Frenchtown has as a hollow, distressed, crime ridden and lifeless community. The gardens will serve as an announcement that Frenchtown is alive and well, and is breathing unassisted. It is a statement that a venue has been created that will show case the history and the legacy of this community and a place for a regular schedule of music, plays, poetry readings, the arts and just plain good ole’ community get-togethers. It will be a great organizing and gathering place for the community.
