The Crown Hall is an upscale wedding venue in Mobile, Alabama. Combining effortless style with extensive facilities, it offers a stage on which to celebrate fit for a king. The venue was designed with events in mind and features everything a couple could need whether they are celebrating a grand gala event or a more intimate affair. Located only a short drive from the center of Mobile, the venue also benefits from close proximity to the metropolitan hub of New Orleans.

Facilities and Capacity

Upon arrival at the Crown Hall, guests will be struck by the adaptability offered by the venue and its luxury decor. For large parties, the Main Room is an ideal choice with a jaw-dropping capacity of up to 1,200 friends and family. The space is open in design, and features a sky-high raised ceiling, creating a sense of limitless space in which to celebrate. Industrial in tone, steel rafters criss-cross above from which hang elegant chandeliers of cut glass. The room is unobtrusive in its decor, allowing couples the space to get creative when planning their event. The property’s Crown on Board Room has large windows that overlook the street and welcome in natural light and is perfect for a sizable gathering. Modern, sleek, and clean in design, it welcomes ceremonies and is adjacent to the large banquet hall for the convenience of parties. Finally, the Crooked Crown room can welcome smaller gatherings in style. Up to 250 loved ones can celebrate in this bar area, which invites guests to recline and relax in comfortable booths whilst a band plays on its stage. There is parking available on-site. Rental of the venue includes access to furniture such as tables and chairs.

Services Offered

The Crown Hall’s management offers those celebrating their big day a range of services designed to make planning events easier. The staff will take care of cleaning the space before and after the event, leaving couples to relax and enjoy their day. Not only can they provide access to a sound system, but rental of the hall includes a dedicated sound engineer for four hours. A security guard can also be provided by the management depending on the space rented. Catering is offered by the venue’s partner Bay Gourmet Catering, whose delicious meals will delight diners.

Catering Services for Wedding

Our experience with Crown Hall was amazing, every expectation was exceeded. We had a few items picked from the menu with a few personalized items. The food was amazing and the staff was awesome. 100% would recommend to anyone and use again.

a nightmare!

First, this venue is beautiful and Mr. Perkins knows his stuff!! But that’s it. Sarah was a Bride's worst nightmare! My husband and I thought she was so kind and accommodating in the beginning. After we paid our last payment things went left. We paid TOP DOLLAR for Food and PREMIUM LIQUOR. We only wanted the venue bar and food. Once my planner took over she gave her pure hell. She had my wedding party wait outside in the cold after rehearsal…. The limo was running behind due to the tree lighting event. She left her employee to put them out at 6:59, locked the doors and drove off. A bunch of WOMEN standing out in the cold at nighttime. There was a separate contract that we never received or signed for vendors. My DJ came in to set up and she took the table he was using because my planner said we didn’t need her stuff.. even though we PAID FOR EVERYTHING. The DJ couldn’t use a table… it gets better! The electricity kept cutting the speakers off for the DJ. I requested for there to be multiple stations so my guest didn’t have to wait… she had ONE station and my guest stayed in line to eat for 45 mins. They were supposed to pass around apps…. That didn’t happen…They were supposed to pass out champagne for the toast… My guest had to go to the bar. . My guests were supposed to eat as soon as they entered the reception….. didn’t happen. She had her venue manager at the bar… My guest had to tell her how to make their drinks. We paid a contract and gratuity for service we did not receive. if you’re a bride that knows exactly what you want, don’t book here. If you have vendors that are not her preferred vendors… don’t book here. Mr. Perkins, the food and the beautiful space are the only positive things about the venue."
