The Richard Nixon Library is a wedding venue based in Yorba Linda, California. Nestled upon 9 acres of manicured grounds, this one-of-a-kind location offers a peaceful haven fused with history and elegance. Whether a couple chooses to have an intimate gathering or a lavish event, the Richard Nixon Library can host the most magical day imaginable.
Facilities and Capacity
The venue offers both indoor and outdoor spaces for celebrations. Couples who wish to enjoy the luscious gardens may wed near the cottage where Nixon was born. The cottage is over 100 years old and allows the opportunity to incorporate a piece of American history into the special day. Alternatively, couples can exchange vows in front of the exquisite water pool on the grounds, offering a truly stunning backdrop to the ceremony. For couples who prefer to wed indoors, they can avail of the White House East Room, a direct replica of its counterpart in Washington. Decorated with impressive chandeliers and silk fabrics, and with remarkable historical portraits adorning the paneled walls, this magnificent ballroom accommodates up to 500 people.

This venue hosts ceremonies, receptions, engagements parties, and wedding showers, as well as catering for multicultural events. White chairs for the ceremony and golden chairs for the reception are included, as well as tables. This venue offers a wide range of activities and ventures, with 70 permanent exhibits, exploring subjects such as the Cold War and life in the White House. There are also several focusing on the life of Nixon himself. Guests can tour the cottage where Nixon was born, or enter a real Marine One aircraft that carried him, President Kennedy, and President Johnson.

The Perfect Wedding Venue – Beyond Our Expectations!
The grounds are absolutely breathtaking and so well-maintained. The flow of the venue made the day seamless. Our guests went from a beautiful outdoor ceremony, to an elegant garden cocktail hour, and then into the stunning indoor ballroom for dinner and dancing. Every space felt like it belonged in a movie.
On top of that, the value for money was incredible. For the level of service, beauty, and quality we received, it felt worth every penny and then some. Our friends and family are still talking about how gorgeous everything was and how smoothly the day went. If you want a venue that blends beauty, elegance, and exceptional service, the Nixon Library is it!

Our Wedding
We knew from the second we walked in on our tour that that was where we would get married. We booked about 1.5 years out and I never felt like the venue forgot about us or pushed us on that backburner just because our wedding was so far away. I had frequent communication that made us feel supported and listened to, especially as an out-of-town couple. Most of our communication was over email due to inability to travel frequently to the venue. However, the few visits we did have in person put us immediately at ease and gave us confidence in all of their staff. The venue is arguably the biggest decision of the planning and we never regretted our decision once. Truly, without any extra decor, the venue is beautiful, extremely well-kept, and magical.
If we could do it all over again, we would continue to choose Nixon over and over again. We hope to plan another event one day in the future there, as it holds such a special place in our heart. But for now, we’ll visit when we can to reminisce on the best day ever!
Special shoutout to Marissa. When the nerves+heat+tight dress combo made me feel faint before the ceremony, you saved me with the water and snack. I appreciate you so much!! Your kindness is not forgotten.

Valentine's Day 2025
Having our wedding at RNL was a fair price. All things considered, they exceeded far beyond the expectations of us, and everyone involved in the planning/financing of the wedding. Regardless of any pass on upgrades or top-tier packages, our thoughts were still heard, and our wishes were still brought to life in a way that was creative and fulfilling of our needs.
We would not change a thing in our choice to host our special day at RNL and we are thankful that we have been able to look back on our wedding with that amount of satisfaction.

The level of sophistication we've found here at the Richard Nixon Presidential Library & Museum is virtually unmatched. Our Photography and Videography team have had the opportunity to work here a number of times, and every time we are treated with the utmost respect and accommodation. The banquet hall is fit for any world-class event, dressed in gold and lovely amenities, and all over the grounds you can expect to find features especially unique to the venue that are useful for photography and videography. The pool can be converted into an incredible spot for sunset and night photography, and we are definite fans of using the Presidential helicopter as a backdrop. Our wedding specialists anxiously await the next opportunity to capture incredible coverage here. The Nixon Library is 100% recommended to any potential couple or guest.
