I had my wedding at the Nixon Library earlier this year, and it was truly everything I dreamed of and more. The staff was so professional, accommodating, and genuinely invested in making our day perfect. They helped me curate my dream wedding from start to finish, making the whole planning process easy and stress-free.
The grounds are absolutely breathtaking and so well-maintained. The flow of the venue made the day seamless. Our guests went from a beautiful outdoor ceremony, to an elegant garden cocktail hour, and then into the stunning indoor ballroom for dinner and dancing. Every space felt like it belonged in a movie.
On top of that, the value for money was incredible. For the level of service, beauty, and quality we received, it felt worth every penny and then some. Our friends and family are still talking about how gorgeous everything was and how smoothly the day went. If you want a venue that blends beauty, elegance, and exceptional service, the Nixon Library is it! -

Beautiful venue for the biggest day of your life!
We decided on Nixon Library last minute, but couldn't find any Saturday openings. So we ended up with a Friday wedding, but it couldn't have been any more perfect! My husband and I shopped for many other venues wanting a Saturday wedding, however we ultimately decided Nixon was the place we want to say our I do's despite it being a Friday wedding. Nixon Library is so beautiful from their garden to the reception hall. Staff correspondents were so quick with their replies to make my decision making smooth. Hands down, great venue to have your wedding if you're in Orange County area. ! -

Our Wedding
My husband and I were married at The Nixon Library this past May! And what a great decision that was!! Besides the fact that the venue is stunning, the staff and booking process was seamless. Every person we interacted with was knowledgeable, kind, quick to respond, and clear in their communication. Our contract spelled out exactly what was expected with what we booked but I feel as if the staff even went above-and-beyond that. They answered every email and question we had (and there were many) quickly and clearly. They truly allowed us to have our dream wedding. Every request was met with enthusiasm and a plan!
We knew from the second we walked in on our tour that that was where we would get married. We booked about 1.5 years out and I never felt like the venue forgot about us or pushed us on that backburner just because our wedding was so far away. I had frequent communication that made us feel supported and listened to, especially as an out-of-town couple. Most of our communication was over email due to inability to travel frequently to the venue. However, the few visits we did have in person put us immediately at ease and gave us confidence in all of their staff. The venue is arguably the biggest decision of the planning and we never regretted our decision once. Truly, without any extra decor, the venue is beautiful, extremely well-kept, and magical.
If we could do it all over again, we would continue to choose Nixon over and over again. We hope to plan another event one day in the future there, as it holds such a special place in our heart. But for now, we’ll visit when we can to reminisce on the best day ever!
Special shoutout to Marissa. When the nerves+heat+tight dress combo made me feel faint before the ceremony, you saved me with the water and snack. I appreciate you so much!! Your kindness is not forgotten. -

The Most Amazing Day
The Nixon Library truly outdid themselves as far as professionalism, communication, attention to detail, and accommodation for the requests we made on our big day. The ceremony outdoors was incredibly beautiful, and the ballroom served as the perfect environment for our first dance as husband and wife. Of course the food from White House Catering was delicious as well! Many of our friends and family have raved about how beautiful our wedding day was since then, and it’s all thanks to the amazing staff at the Nixon Library! -

Valentine's Day 2025
We had our wedding day on Friday, February 14, 2025, and it was the Valentine's Day of the century. From beginning to end, working with RNL was an incredible experience. Their effort, organization, and thoughtfulness will always be remembered. They came with much experience that provided an effortless day for my husband and I. Weddings as magical as ours can only happen so perfectly when there is a strong vendor team to support them and I will never stop acknowledging that.
Having our wedding at RNL was a fair price. All things considered, they exceeded far beyond the expectations of us, and everyone involved in the planning/financing of the wedding. Regardless of any pass on upgrades or top-tier packages, our thoughts were still heard, and our wishes were still brought to life in a way that was creative and fulfilling of our needs.
We would not change a thing in our choice to host our special day at RNL and we are thankful that we have been able to look back on our wedding with that amount of satisfaction.

We fell in love with the Nixon the moment we saw it. It was exactly what we wanted (A garden ceremony with a ballroom reception). Cierra and Marissa were great in communicating with us and also helped us out with some areas to bring cost down. I will say it is not cheap to use this space (We got married on a Sunday as it was cheaper), but you truly get what you pay for here. It is so beautiful on its own and the team there is flawless. Couldn't recommend a better place to get married! -

We got so many compliments on the staff, venue, and overall experience of the wedding, and we have the Nixon library to thank for that!! We were overjoyed with the seamless product that was our experience with the Nixon library staff. Our wedding was picture perfect, and we enjoyed that they have so much knowledge and background, whether it is how flow should typically go, timeline advice, layout, ideas, or anything in between. We were THRILLED to be able to have our picture perfect Saturday summertime wedding. The gorgeous garden was a great backdrop on the day. Not to mention, every single corner of the Nixon venue space is ready for a photo op. Great communication all throughout even when we would ask a list of 20 questions in one email, they qould get quickly answered. I love this venue, after looking everywhere on the East Coast and the West Coast, the Nixon Library is where was the best one for me. Once I saw the ball room, and the reflecting pool, I was sold! This is the perfect venue if you want a beautiful and elegant wedding. I teamed up with Blissfully Styled, one of their preferred vendors, and they worked so well with all the Nixon employees. Also, the Whitehouse catering, made my life so much easier, by not having to find a caterer myself, and the food was absolutely delicious! 3 months later, I have people still talk about how delicious the food was! and the dessert was amazing! Big shout out to all the workers from the Nixon, from the security, to the catering, and administration, everyone was so friendly and responsive, it was overall a great wedding experience! Once again, I'm so grateful to have found this amazing venue, it made my dream wedding come to life! -

My wife and I got married here on October 4th and it was everything we dreamed of. The outdoor garden and reflective pool set the perfect scene for our wedding ceremony. The cottage was a perfect spot in the shade for our cocktail hour, we brought in a Mariachi to play during that time and everyone was able to catch up, have drinks and take pictures. The east room was the perfect sized ballroom for our 225 guests. Nothing felt cramped, plenty of space. The staff was great to work with and was very helpful. -

We recently had our wedding at the Nixon Presidential Library, and it was nothing short of magical. The venue is stunning, seamlessly blending historical elegance with modern charm. Our guests were in awe of the beautiful Rose Garden and reflecting pool, which created romantic backdrops for our photos. The lawn provided the perfect setting for breathtaking pictures that we will cherish forever.
The East Room was equally impressive, comfortably accommodating all 240+ of our guests, even with a large dance floor. The staff was incredibly accommodating both leading up to our wedding and on the day itself. We couldn't have imagined a more beautiful or memorable place to celebrate our special day. Highly recommend! -

Our wedding at The Richard Nixon Library was beyond spectacular. From the moment we arrived, we were met with such warmth and professionalism, making the whole experience truly unforgettable. The staff went above and beyond to ensure every detail was perfect, giving us full confidence in their abilities.
One standout aspect was their attention to detail. They meticulously arranged everything exactly as we envisioned, creating a beautiful and seamless atmosphere for our special day. Additionally, the food (from their recommended vendor, White House Catering) was not only delicious but also presented in such an elegant manner, leaving all our guests impressed.
The Richard Nixon Library is stunningly beautiful. The First Lady's Rose Garden and the East Ballroom, with its soaring ceilings and magnificent chandeliers, are so beautiful that we were able to use minimal flowers, and instead, let the venue's beauty speak for itself. (Which then allowed us to spend our budget elsewhere on other aspects of our Wedding.)
Overall, we couldn't have asked for a better venue for our wedding. The Richard Nixon Library truly exceeded our expectations, and we are so grateful for their hard work and dedication in making our day truly magical. We highly recommend them to any couple looking for a stunning and accommodating wedding venue. The wedding of our dreams!
Our experience with The Richard Nixon Library was nothing short of exceptional for our April 2024 wedding. From our very first interaction with them to the day of our wedding, Cierra Lane and Marissa Rodgers were incredibly attentive to our needs. They not only promptly addressed all our inquiries but also went above and beyond to ensure that every detail was taken care of.
Throughout the planning process, we were pleasantly surprised by how they anticipated things we hadn't even considered. This proactive approach helped alleviate any potential stress, allowing us to fully enjoy our special day. Cierra and Marissa's thoughtfulness extended to small touches that made a big difference in the smooth running of our event.
In conclusion, we would highly recommend The Richard Nixon Library for their dedicated support, attention to detail, and overall professionalism. The best venue you can get in oc
I researched and toured more than 20 venues in OC for my wedding and we settled for Nixon Library. It already come with the rose garden and east room which is a duplicate of White House so the decoration is extremely easy. The staff is amazing there and the vendors on their referral list are AMAZING. If I can, I want to give a 200% rating for this venue. -

Simply Fantastic
Pre-wedding:
We first stumbled upon the Nixon Library through a friend's recommendation. I had my hesitations at first, thinking to myself, "Getting married at a library...?" Oh, how wrong was I?
To our surprise, a beautiful venue such as this would have an opening on our date in mind.
We were absolutely stunned on the day of the walk-through. My wife and I couldn't believe our eyes as we walked down the hallway through the museum portion of the library. Through the glass doors, a reflecting pool serves as a dazzling backdrop to the ceremonial ground.
"This is it," we both whispered to each other, attempting to grasp the breath that was taken away just seconds ago.
Just when I thought things could not get more exciting, I was surprised (of course my wife knew) to find the perfect presidential ballroom for our reception. Portraits of important people added to the grandness of the reception hall. I joked about it then, and I will continue to do so, that George Washington was a part of our wedding.
Aesthetics aside, the Nixon Library staff were an absolute pleasure to work with. They were responsive, thorough, accommodating, and honest. I know that for most, wedding planning could be very challenging, navigating through so many points of contact; yet the Nixon Library staff guided us through the process seamlessly and took care of the details flawlessly -- it truly saved us much of the headache.
Day of the wedding:
Our wedding was in late May when the temperature wasn't awfully cold or intolerably hot. Not only was the weather ideal, but the roses bloomed the most during this season as well. Neither my wife nor I have ever seen roses blooming this radiantly. So many of my guests told us they were able to get their Christmas family photos from our wedding with backgrounds like these! Everyone we spoke to also loved the food White House Catering served on our wedding day. Appetizer options: Ahi taco, chicken waffle bite, beef wellington. The main course of prime rib, grilled salmon, fusilli pesto, and lobster ravioli to name a few. Methinks the only regrets the guests shared in common were reportedly having stomachs too small for all this mouthwatering food!
The day flew by, as most married couples will tell you. Some would even say their wedding day is a blur. But to me, our wedding day was carved in our memories. It wasn't stressful. We weren't in a rush to get a headstart to our ever-after. We were present in those moments. We were happy.
The Nixon Library gave us the wedding of our dreams. At the end of the day, being married to the love of your life is the goal. But if there are vendors like the Nixon Library to come alongside you, you can surely spend more time doing what is important -- in my case, panfry up a piece of ribeye steak for my beautiful bride. -

Stunning Indoor&Outdoor Venue and Great Staff!
I did my wedding for ceremony and reception both indoors of the venue and it was beyond my dreams!
The space came out so nice and perfect in our pictures and the sunlight came in perfectly through the windows.
The staff were also very detailed and reliable and accomodated everything that we needed and also took care of any things that we left behind in a safe and secure place.
Highly recommend this place for it's amazing indoor features and outdoor space as well! -

We had gone to about 14 different venues in the OC area to look for a suitable venue for our June 2023 wedding (~late Spring 2022) and this was the first venue where as soon as walked in, my then-fiancee and now-wife said, "I can see us getting married here." It was the first time she had said this and in my mind, I agreed and had already put down in my mental to-do list to cancel our other 8 or so remaining venue visits we had scheduled in the upcoming weeks.
The entire process of booking our date was quick and easy with our first point of contact - Cierra - being so pleasant to work with and she was always courteous and a quick responder to emails, even when she was away from the office. In under 2 weeks we had booked and signed for the date we wanted and she gave us plenty of recommendations on other vendors to support us in creating the wedding of our dreams. At any point when we made changes or added new things, the Nixon staff were accepting and willing to work with us.
On our walkthroughs and final polishing of details, we worked with Keviann, Amy and Jocelyn, and each showed the same professionalism and care that Cierra had up to this point. They made sure all the pieces we brought in were as we imagined and made our day so much more special. They also shadowed us on the day of making sure that all of our needs, in regards to the venue and our guests, were met neatly and promptly.
There is no complaint I can possibly think of because the team at the Nixon took care of my wife and I so well throughout our planning process and of course on the day of. The venue is beautiful, the staff are amazing and I'm positive if any reading this choose the Nixon for any event, there will be no regrets whatsoever. I joked with my family that we would be throwing the wedding of the century and the Nixon team definitely made it happen. -

We had our wedding at the Nixon in May 2023. It was truly amazing. The Library was my number 1 venue choice and it was absolutely the best choice we could have made. The venue is so beautiful and stunning it doesn't need additional decor to make it look incredible for your wedding. On top of that they are so organized and professional. All the vendors on their recommended list are top notch. I truly cannot thank them enough for our amazing wedding. Our family and friends all loved it as well. When my husband and I first visited The Nixon Library we were blown away by the gorgeous facility and great museum experience. We went back a second time so my parents could enjoy it. We later learned that they host weddings in their stunning replica of the East Room of the White House and when I toured it again, I knew it was where we were meant to get married. I am beyond grateful to The Nixon Foundation for making their space available for weddings. It created an experience unlike any other for our guests - everyone pulled out their cameras and filmed the space during the reception. It was magical! The staff are terrific, and we even got to take photos in their replica of the Oval Office and in front of the Helicopter. My family LOVED that. The gardens and Nixon's home made for the most beautiful outdoor landscape for our ceremony and for photos. I can't recommend The Nixon Library & Museum enough for your wedding venue! -

Had our dream wedding at the Richard Nixon Library on 05.01.2022!! The venue was beautiful, elegant, and grand. Just everything we have dreamt of.
We had the best Event Coordinator, Keviann to work with from booking the venue to coordinating the details and contracts with our wedding vendors. The whole process was so smooth, and Keviann was great at following up with us.
On the day of the wedding we had two amazing coordinators, Amy & Marissa to supervise even though they were not our official wedding coordinators. They were super attentive, sweet, and helpful!!! They went above and beyond their duty and ensure our wedding went smoothly. The fact that we had Amy & Marissa that day made us feel at ease, even though weddings can be chaotic with so much going on.
Excellent customer service and caring people all around. Highly recommend!! -

My now-husband and I were looking at wedding venues in Orange County and came across the Richard Nixon Library. We toured dozens of venues, but nothing was quite like the Nixon. The place is breathtaking in so many ways. The garden area is absolutely stunning, and the East Room (reception area) is elegant, timeless and beautiful, especially the large crystal chandeliers. When it came time to book, finalize details, and have our wedding at the Nixon, we were thoroughly taken care of, thanks to the amazing staff. Normally, wedding days are stressful for the couple, but we didn't have to worry about a thing. We received photos from our photographer, and every detail came out perfectly. There's not a thing that I regret about our wedding day, and booking the Richard Nixon as our wedding venue was THE BEST decision we made.
To this day, we still get compliments about our wedding and how beautiful it was. Our newly engaged friends have also bookmarked this venue for their wedding venue search. -

Our dream wedding comes true at The Richard Nixon Library
My husband and I are very happy that we celebrated our wedding at The Richard Nixon Library. We wanted a venue that has the ceremony and the reception together in one place and is large enough for all our guests. We have families and friends that flew from Hawaii to our wedding and they absolute love the venue. The staffs are very responsive and helpful. The Nixon library is very well maintenance and always look elegant. We had our ceremony on the grass lawn facing the fountain with the sun setting is so magical. The Nixon Library is a breath taking place and amazing wedding photos spot to host a wedding. My husband and his groomsmen were very happy to take pictures with the helicopter. That is something not every venue has. The ballroom and the extra room created a very spacious space for our guests to walk around to enjoy the bar, photo-booth and dessert table. I love the chandlers in the ballroom because it make the whole wedding look very classy. I like that the bridal suites is very private and safe to put your belonging.
The Richard Nixon Library worth every pennies that we host our special day there and I would highly recommended to anyone. Our wedding photos and video were beautiful. There were many pretty spots that we can take pictures. -

Amazing and beautiful wedding venue!
Richard Nixon has been nothing short of amazing. I was originally supposed to have my wedding in June 2020, and they have been SO helpful with 2 postponements! I finally had my dream wedding March 2022 and they made sure everything went smoothly. The venue is stunning and everything was so meticulously perfect. The ballroom was the main reason we booked the venue because it reminded us of the ballroom in Beauty and the Beast. Our wedding was Disney themed, so it was perfect. Another reason was the amazing picture spots underneath the willow tree, in the rose garden, and in front of long fountain. We got married at sunset, and the photos came out amazing. They have been fantastic with communication and always got back to me so fast! I would highly recommend them to any bride. -

I booked our wedding venue sight unseen while I was recovering from a major surgery. After emailing venue after venue and all of them requiring a mandatory walk through before I was allowed to get an accurate quote I was sold on RNL when Cierra Promptly emailed me back and assured me that she understood I couldn’t travel and was available to be reached over the phone, via email or zoom. She answered all of my questions, got me a quote and we booked the venue within a week. Once I had recovered we scheduled a tour and once we walked into the ball room I cried. It was magnificent and beautiful. My wedding came together in 11 months and I have no regrets. I booked their preferred caterer and bakery and my guests are still raving about the food and how gorgeous the venue was. They made my day run perfectly smooth- no issues whatsoever. It was a dream. I 1000% recommend, if I could do it again I would! -

We got married this year and while planning was a roller coaster, the Nixon team was incredibly flexible. We had to move our reception outside a week before our wedding and the venue added complimentary heat lamps and bistro lights. It was such a romantic night and everything was beautiful. -

Words cannot express the gratitude with Richard Nixon. I was that lucky Bride that had to postpone everything just a week away from our wedding day due to Covid-19. My now husband and I decided to have a more intimate wedding from 350+ guests to only 70 guests. In just a month notice, Richard Nixon went out over the top. We had an intimate garden wedding which was not expected. It turned it out better than what we imagined. Carrie and Ashley were absolutely wonderful to work with. I would definitely consider renewing my vows once again at Richard Nixon. -

Amazing venue
The Richard Nixon Presidential Library & Museum was the ideal location for our wedding! Not only is the East Room stunning in every way and the property well maintained (which results in amazing photos), but the events team is great to work with! What I appreciated most about the venue is the team's openness to creative ideas. The events team is accommodating to requests, doing whatever they can to bring your dream wedding to life! -

This was one of the first venues that my fiancé and I visited. We loved the place and loved how beautiful it was. We loved how there was a lot of parking spaces which would be very easy for our guests. Ashley helped us and made everything so easy. She is great and very nice to work with. We attended 2 events that they had for people who were interested in having a wedding there. I thought that the event made it 100% easier for us to book our other vendors. Can’t wait to get married here next year! -

Nixon Library ended up being the very first venue that we toured and I immediately fell in love. The ballroom with the chandeliers are absolutely stunning, the garden with the immaculately cut grass and bright cheerful flowers were gorgeous. I knew right away that this is where we needed to get married. Once we officially signed with them - everything was such a breeze. Between Jenny and Jackie, no detail was overlooked. They answered my 15 million emails with questions in a quick and timely manner, and for that I will be forever grateful. Thank you both for helping us plan the wedding of our dreams! I highly recommend this venue - not only for it’s beauty, but for the staff as well. Thank you again for being apart of our day!

June 2019 Wedding
I had my wedding at the Richard Nixon Library 6/2019 and absolutely loved it! The moment I walked in to the venue I knew I wanted to have my wedding there. Ashley was great to work with and answered my millions of questions promptly and helped make the entire process easy. The venue looked breathtaking! We received so many compliments on how beautiful the room was and how gorgeous the outdoor cocktail hour was. I would highly recommend hosting your event here! -

We loved having our wedding at the Nixon Library. The staff, especially Jackie, were so helpful in planning and preparing our perfect day. We had rain in the morning and the staff kept us updated on the weather and condition of the gardens as well as made a back up plan in case the weather did not clear up. We got to have our ceremony outside as planned and everything was absolutely beautiful. Everyone was so easy to work with and responsive to our emails/calls. We're so glad we chose this as our venue! -

I just visited Nixon library to see the venue, the staff were incredible. The place was more than a dream! I love the place and the girl who gave us a tour was very informative and cool! 5 star to Nixon! If you're considering a wedding venue just go ahead and do it! -

Kevin Sent on 10/08/2018As a seasoned Wedding Professional, and current Service Manager at two luxury brand properties in Santa Monica, I had a high expectation headed into my husband and I's wedding & reception. The Nixon Library did NOT disappoint. It was the PERFECT backdrop for our black tie wedding and our "State Dinner" themed affair. Guests from across the country were able to experience all that the library has to offer and they, along with us, felt truly welcomed. The team at the Nixon was beyond helpful in the planning stages as well as once on-site come wedding day. Quick to respond to emails and calls, and easy to accommodate vendor requests. It's worth the rental cost, and with our Friday event, the price was even better.
Mike and I are truly beyond grateful to the Nixon Library team and their welcoming arms to our family and friends. We look forward to sharing our pictures & video, and are so blessed to have picked this venue for our once in a lifetime day. THANK YOU!
