SnapHappy Photos is a labor of love – literally. Founders Ada and Doug Stevens have always had a passion for photography.. After they joined forces, the two decided to take a chance by giving up their careers and pursuing photography full-time, establishing SnapHappy Photos in 2007.

The chemistry between Ada and Doug and their chemistry with their clients truly distinguishes SnapHappy Photos and defines the enjoyable experience they provide every customer. Unless an event is more intimate, both photographers are on the scene working together, shooting from different vantage points and capturing more of those spontaneous moments . Ada is the primary photographer, while Doug is the second shooter, both being post-production gurus.

Through the years SnapHappy Photos has covered nearly every type of event, including weddings, engagements, business portraits, corporate meetings, bar and bat mitzvahs, charity functions, parties, family portraits, and other unique special occasions. Ada and Doug proudly serve as the official photographers for the Coral Gables Chamber of Commerce, the Doral Business Council and BNI Miami (Ada). They have also been the featured photographers for the previous two bridal shows hosted by the Greater Miami Convention and Visitors Bureau as well as their past 2 Annual Meetings.

Ada and Doug are not your average photography team. Because they value authenticity in their work, they don’t contrive to recreate the magic of the moment in a studio. The endless natural beauty of the outdoors is their studio, and the South Florida landscape has an abundance of breathtaking scenery with which to work.
