Are there any special characteristics about this venue such as scenery or architecture?
Our mansion stands at the birth place of John Egar Howard, and the beautiful crown moldings, chandeliers, hardwood floors, and our French slate terrace are all original to the building. We have a beautiful back garden with a gazebo for ourdoor ceremonies as well. Our silk lined tent is perfect for dining for large groups, as well as indoor ceremonies.
How does your venue determine the cost of the space?
Rental rates vary based on day, date, time of year, and duration. Please feel free to contact one of our event coordinators for specifics.
Do you offer any special services?
We offer custom menu design, floorplan and timeline planning, as well as event management.
Do you rent other items such as linens, tables, or flatware?
Our mansion rental includes tables and chairs. The catering pricing typically includes linens, china, silverware, and glassware.
Do you require clients to use a specific list of vendors?
No, but we do offer a recommended list should they need suggestions.
Do you require the client to use your musicians? If you do not require this, is that an additional fee to bring in one's own musicians?
No, and there is no additional fee to do so.

Rental of Grey Rock includes full use of the mansion and it's rooms, as well as its outdoor areas.
