Serendipity Portraits is a boutique wedding photography studio covering Chicago, Louisville, St. Louis and beyond. Being a smaller studio, we are able to give your wedding the personal attention it deserves and photography that reflects your individual style. With styles ranging from classical to contemporary, Serendipity Portraits aims to capture the happy!

There are many words to describe the first encounter with a soulmate: fate, kismet and serendipity. We chose serendipity because sometimes the best moments aren’t always planned. We capture not only the big moments, but also the little, unexpected ones that can be surprising, heartfelt and funny. We don’t let those priceless moments slip through the cracks. These create the vivid and unique memories that are relived while flipping through the wedding album.




History:

Created by Sarah Albritton and Heather DeCamp, Serendipity Portraits began in early 2009. After meeting through a mutual friend, wedding photographer's Sarah and Heather quickly realized that they had a similar passion for shooting weddings, a great style and the ambition to do something bigger.



Both photographers pride themselves on capturing true moments that are unexpected and serendipitous. They also share a great passion for encapsulating the unique quality of each wedding, so that it reflects the clients personality.



Starting a new business venture in the wake of an economic downfall is no easy task, but it has been worth all the hard work. On March 29, 2009 Serendipity Portraits had it's official launch party.



Since then, Serendipity Portraits has covered weddings in Chicago, New Orleans, Louisville, St. Louis, Iowa and Michigan. They have been published in Chicago Bride and Louisville Bride. Currently they are booking for 2011 weddings.
