Salthouse Catering offers catering services for weddings and events in Charleston, South Carolina and the surrounding Lowcountry. We are about the marriage of mouthwatering ingredients, creativity, and exceptional service. We combine our professionalism and expertise to help each couple create their dream wedding.
Salthouse Catering offers full-service catering coordination to include bar service, rentals, and venue recommendations. We are with you from start to finish from advanced planning to hands-on management during your reception.
Salthouse Catering offers local, regional, and global cuisine that can be custom-tailored to your event. We use as much locally sourced, seasonal fresh produce as possible to create innovative food that suits a wide range of tastes and dietary considerations. We pride ourselves on using fresh farm products as well as sustainable seafood in our culinary creations. We will work with you to create a menu that fits your needs, whether it be an intimate gathering or a grand multi-course celebration. We offer menus for the following:

Our all-inclusive package prices may vary due to the number of guests, bar/beverages, set up, staff/labor, taxes, fees, etc.
All of our proposals are custom created based on your specific event details (venue, number of guests, duration of the event, food and beverage selections, etc). Allow us to prepare a proposal to assist with your budgeting and planning.

Charleston native and travel enthusiast, Jacqueline is a local food & beverage veteran. She comes from an industry family, her father is a chef and her mother works for an established hospitality company. Jacqueline grew up in West Ashley and attended School of Arts, while participating in professional theater as a child. She has a very large family and loved being on the water as a kid. She has worked in various restaurants and bars since she was 15 and learned both back and front of house operations.
After graduating from The University of South Carolina in 2015 she moved to Prague, Czech Republic for 3 years. During that time, she made travel her passion. She’s traveled to over 40+ countries and continues to travel as much as possible.
Jacqueline has been with Salthouse since 2019 and took over as a Sales Manager in October 2021. Jacqueline prides herself in ability to be versatile and determined that all clients never forget their experiences with Salthouse Catering. Jacqueline’s prior experience as an assistant wedding planner helps her anticipate and prepare for the busy world of catering in a popular wedding destination city.
Jacqueline’s husband is a local pastry chef in Charleston. In her free time, you can find her at either the beach, a local brewery, or a funky restaurant enjoying time with friends.
Lauren brings many years of catering experience to Salthouse, having past roles as a sales manager and on-site event lead. She has successfully sold and executed events as small as an intimate wedding for 20 to large corporate galas for over 700 guests. Her comprehensive knowledge of event planning and execution includes vendor coordination. Lauren has also directed new business ventures within the events industry, having opened and sold events at all-inclusive venues.
Her passion for exceptional food, beverage and superior service propelled her into the industry. Lauren’s attention to detail sets her apart as she truly appreciates seeing the event vision come to life. She loves being able to make clients’ dreams a reality while offering quality service throughout the entire experience.
Lauren originally hails from Maryland and is graduate of Auburn University. She spends her free time with her husband, son, and two dogs and enjoys cooking and entertaining in her own home!
