Describe your DJ style:
We pride ourselves in being professional . We are very good at reading your guests and what music they will enjoy dancing to . We will handle all of your MC needs . As well as help you in the planning of your special day. Our priority is to give you the best entertainment value for your money.
What is your usual attire?
Formal unless otherwise requested
If you do not have one of the songs pre-requested by the client, do you require that they provide it?
No . With the advent of I-Tunes and other internet areas we are able to get pretty much any song . And yes we do purchace all the music we provide . We do not down load "FREE" music.
How many other DJs do you work with?
My wife , Susan , And I are the only DJ's . We do all of the events as a team.
What is the minimum amount of time you will DJ for?
Time is up to you.
Is the client able to meet the DJ before booking?
YES . You will meet with us as often as you need . We are also available by phone and e-mail .
Do you bring your own equipment?
Yes . We use only professional grade equipment .
What (if any) special equipment, such as disco balls or lighting, is offered with your service?
Yes. We have lasers , fog machines etc.. We also offer uplighting and Gobo lighting.
How much time do you usually need to set up? Do you require that the site or client provide a table for you to set up on?
It takes us about 1 hour to set up for a normal reception. It may take longer if you have special needs . We ask that you provide a 6 foot table and electicity . However if you do not have access to a table we can provide one at no charge.
Do you have any extra space requirements?
No
Do you usually emcee the event or talk between songs?
Yes we MC your reception . However we rarely talk between songs . We find this practice to be distracting to you and your guests and self serving for the DJ.
What is your policy on taking breaks? If you require a meal break, do you require that the client provide your meal?
NO
What is your backup plan in case you become unavailable on the day of the event?
YES! We have a very good network of other DJ's who back each other up . However in 15 years I have never missed an event.
What is your overtime rate?
$75 an hour
Do you charge for travel expenses? If yes, how much do you charge?
Not with in the KC Metro area.
