Olive Events did an amazing job providing catering that was accommodating to vegan and allergens (dairy and gluten), all while still creating a phenomenal 3 course meal. My guests are still talking about how incredible the food was and how those guests with dietary restrictions could finally go to a wedding and enjoy EVERY MEAL (this never happens). As person who has a dairy allergy and always has to eat before an event, making an allergen friendly meal that EVERYONE can enjoy was extremely important to me on my wedding day. Olive Events truly exceeded my expectations!

My biggest concern about having my daughter's wedding at the majestic Midland Theater was the quality of the food. There is not a full kitchen on site, and I couldn't imagine that the food would be as good as it did at our tasting. Olive Events did a wonderful job on the food, and we received so many unsolicited comments on how delicious everything was. Service was professional and unobtrusive. Olive Events far surpassed our expectations for our wedding! We had no idea what we wanted, or how we wanted to do it! Olive Events was very responsive during the initial planning, and recommended an amazing menu based on our likes and dislikes! We never even tasted the food before the wedding, we just had confidence in this amazing group of people! They did not disappoint! Probably some of the most amazing food I had ever had! Additionally, I had no idea what was going to happen with anything that was left over, I did not realize that they packaged up the few leftovers that we had! This is probably a standard service, but I felt like it was above and beyond! Our family and friends will be raving about this food for a long, long time! My husband and I really wanted to have bbq at our wedding because so many of our guests were from out of town, and they knocked it out of the park. We were on the fence about late-night snacks and made the decision about three weeks beforehand, and they were able to make it happen. I'm so glad we used Olive.

All I have to say is truffle mac and cheese! Olive Events prepared some of the most amazing food for my wedding day. Nichole was so awesome to work with and she designed a menu to fit our budget that truly helped to make our big day wonderful. Maple pecan crusted pork tenderloin with port reduction, truffle mac and cheese, roasted summer vegetables and a spinach, strawberry salad with goat cheese and champagne vinaigrette were the talk of the town. I don't know how many people came up to me and said that this food was the best food they have ever had at a wedding. Besides having amazing food, the Olive staff were so friendly to work with and provided the best service I could ask for. If you want a wedding where people will remember the food and praise you for their invite, then hire Olive, because they won't disappoint.

I have now worked with Olive for three events: our daughter's engagement party, a corporate luncheon, and our daughter and son-in-law's wedding reception dinner. From our very first tasting for the wedding dinner to the execution on the night of the wedding, it was flawless. Our guests raved about the food. My daughter wanted to serve family style and they made it happen. The courses were beautifully presented on the trays and in the bowls. Our guests loved the family style service. Very unique and a bit more upscale than a buffet. The servers are all professional. I always look at every detail when planning a party or selecting a caterer. Olive not only has great food, they know how to present it and how to serve it. These things are so important when choosing your caterer. Obviously, price is important, too. Food is really important to my husband and I, so we knew that the food catered for our wedding had to be outstanding. With Olive Events, we got everything and more! From the very first tasting of the truffle mac and cheese, we knew they had to cater our wedding. Everything they served was delicious and they are very accommodating if you need to change anything. They were helpful with identifying gluten-free dishes for our guests as well. They also display the food beautifully, which is not something you'd think about, but once you see their set up compared to other caterers, it's no competition. We have heard nothing but good things from our guests about the food! We also had plenty of food for all our guests, as they went through the buffet. The passed hors d'oeuvres were outstanding as well. If you want a memorable dinner at your wedding, Olive Events is the way to go.
