Kate is wonderful! She was perfect for our cocktail hour. She played outside in the heat, our guests loved her and it was a perfect touch to add. Highly recommend Kate to any brides. She will definitely not cause you any unneeded drama or headaches. She is on time and was wonderful to work with.

We highly recommend that you look no further than O’Brien Strings who played the cocktail hour of our wedding reception! We employed a trio and Kate was responsive and receptive to all our needs. Kate’s violin, viola, and cello trio were professional and timely, welcoming our guests with the sounds of angels singing. The trio was the perfect backdrop for our cocktail hour and set the tone for the rest of the reception. Kate’s trio exceeded all expectations while creating an atmosphere of fun and enjoyment by playing from a large repertoire of classical and contemporary compositions. We cannot speak highly enough regarding how impressed we were with Kate’s professionalism, willingness, and proficiency to provide the melodious backdrop for our special day.

I loved working with Kate O'Brien! She was so helpful and was eager to assist in any way she could. She was also very experienced so she was able to discuss order of events and how she would proceed for the day of the wedding. Never for a second did I have to worry about her showing and performing well. Wow was she and the other two ladies she worked with amazing! They played beautifully, they even did the game of thrones theme song as we requested and our guests are still talking about it!!!!
