Aloha from  Chuck "The DJ",  I hope to make your Wedding Day perfect. 

There is nothing more special or beautiful than a wedding on Maui. You your family and friends are coming together to celebrate, and music is one of the most important parts of any celebration. The right mix of fun dance music and a great MC/DJ who can help lead you through your day will make all the difference.

I have helped hundreds of Brides and Grooms get the day they desire. I like to call it, "True Personalized Service."

It does not matter how big or small, or where on Maui it is, indoors or out, mountain top or beach front, I can help you create
the wedding day of your dreams.

Chuck "The DJ" is recommenced by some of the finest resorts and coziest restaurants on the Island.

I want to make sure that you know that I remember who's day it is and I'm there to help YOU make a memory.


Some things you should know.

I only book one event a day!
Your wedding day is as important to me as it is to you.
I will never be rushing through your event to get to my next.
My whole day is centered on you. That is the way it should be.

Coordination
I can help take the pressure off you and your family by interacting and planning with your other wedding professionals to make sure your day runs smooth. All formalities such as, bouquet toss, garter removal, cake cutting, announcements, and toasts are planned in advance so there are no surprises.

Music
The style and choice of songs that are played are determined by you. Requests from your guests are taken with your prior approval.

Attire

On your wedding day I will wear a full tuxedo, aloha wear
or a suit and tie if you wish. Your choice, NO CHARGE!

Equipment
It is important for you to know that I use professional DJ equipment for excellent sound quality and reliability. For indoor events I use the "BOSE PAS L1 Professional Audio System" for outstanding sound quality. Wireless microphones are a must for toasts and you are welcome to use mine NO CHARGE!

Insurance
Many venues are now requiring DJ's to carry a $1,000,000.00 Liability Insurance Policy. If they ask, I do have that and will be happy to supply the proof of coverage form.

What is your usual attire?
That is also choosen by the Bride and Groom... Tuxedo, Aloha Wear or Shirt and tie or??????
 
If you do not have one of the songs pre-requested by the client, do you require that they provide it?
No... As long as I know before hand, I will get any music needed.
 
How many other DJs do you work with?
2 In the company
 
What is the minimum amount of time you will DJ for?
My pricing is "up to" so I will play for as little as you want.
 
Is the client able to meet the DJ before booking?
Yes, I encourage that.
 
Do you specialize in any ethnic or international events?
I specialize in all events.
 
Do you bring your own equipment?
Yes, I bring everything that I need, right down to the last power cord.
 
What (if any) special equipment, such as disco balls or lighting, is offered with your service?
Yes. I have Expanded Light Shows and Sound Systems, Karaoke, Game Show Mania! (great for rehersel dinners) and more.
 
How much time do you usually need to set up? Do you require that the site or client provide a table for you to set up on?
I like to arrive at about 2 hours before my contracted start time to make sure everything is perfect. It really only takes me about 45 min to set up. No they do not usually have to provide a table for me unless we are also doing Karaoke.
 
Do you have any extra space requirements?
no... as you can see in my pics, I have a very compact professional set up.
 
Do you usually emcee the event or talk between songs?
Usually I emcee the reception, but talking between songs goes to the "interactiveness" that they Bride and Groom want. Again, that is choosen by them for their special day.
 
What is your policy on taking breaks? If you require a meal break, do you require that the client provide your meal?
No
 
Will you arrange for recorded music to play during your breaks?
N/A
 
What is your backup plan in case you become unavailable on the day of the event?
Yes, we have a great network of DJs who are always available in case something happens. I have never missed an event.
 
What is your overtime rate?
$150.00 per hour
 
Do you charge for travel expenses? If yes, how much do you charge?
No,,, it doesn't matter where on the Island of Maui your reception is.

Tips and Advice

The wedding entertainment field is huge and varied.

I have been in business for 23 years providing DJ entertainment, coordination and helping to make memories at events large and small.

At the end of the night, when the guests are leaving and I hear them tell the Bride and Groom what a wonderful time they had, or how much fun it was or that they threw a great party, I know they are talking about the entertainment. Me. The DJ.

You can have cold chicken, wilted flowers, disposable cameras and kool-aid to drink, but if your entertainment is good, either a band or a DJ, THAT is what your friends family and loved ones will remember.

One the other hand, you can have the best cake, beautiful flowers, an open bar, the best photographer in the world, (which BTW none of your guests will even know about since maybe only 5% of them will ever even see the pictures) but if your iPod, or even if your DJ or Band is bad, THAT will be what people remember. They will remember that your biggest day of your life, was boring or no fun.

Spend the time to do the research. Talk to a number of DJs or bands to find one that is right for you. Not all DJs or bands are the same.

On your wedding day I bet your car is good enough to drive you to and from the church, but I bet you will hire a limo.

I bet you have a friend who can make a cake. But I bet you will hire the best bakery in town.

I bet your friend has a great new camera from Wal-Mart, but I bet you will hire a professional photographer.

Why would you do anything less than hire a professional DJ to help make your day perfect?
