Marc Burgess Photography shoots both formats of film and digital to accommodate today's client, who primarily is seeking digital images.
However, with a background in b/w photography while developing and printing all of our own film, Marc Burgess Photography will always be nostalgic of film and thus, certainly have a soft spot despite its dying breed in the format wars of distribution.
Do you sometimes book yourself for more than one event in a day? Weekend?
Marc Burgess Photography never double books in one day, as we provide exclusive all day coverage of your wedding.
Do you have a replacement photographer in case you become unavailable on the day of the event?
Marc Burgess Photography has never missed a booking in 2 decades, but we certainly have pre-screened professionals ready for any last minute disasters.
What kind of equipment do you typically bring with you on the day-of?
Marc Burgess Photography works with top of the line pro equipment, shooting huge 10.2 mega pixels on Nikon D200 camera bodies with various pro zoom lenses for a truly round and diverse range of photography. In addition, we carry enough memory cards to fill up 20 hard-drives.
Do you bring back-up equipment to the event in case of malfunction?
Of course, Marc Burgess Photography carries back-ups of every pro equipment should any malfunction occur.
Do you charge hourly or full day?
Marc Burgess Photography values the style of your preferred brand of photography and wants to make sure to cover all the great moments, as we only offer full day coverage, with includes pre-engagement session too!!
Do you charge for travel?
Marc Burgess Photography is an editorial fine art experience that aims to become your preferred brand of photography and travels worldwide at no extra cost.

How soon after the event are the proofs ready for viewing?

Do you retain the copyright for the photos?
Marc Burgess Photography retains its legal copyright, but offers all digital files on CD's after balance of package has been retained.
Do you provide the digital files and/or negatives (or copies of the negatives) to the client?
Marc Burgess Photography provides all brides with their images on hi-resolution CD's.
