It’s important to have your makeup and hair done professionally for your wedding day. You want to have a flawless look for your wedding day and have your makeup last all day. A knowledgeable makeup artist will have the correct makeup that is photography ready, use proper lighting and know exactly what to do when the camera and video crew are around. :*)

It’s smart to go for a trial run before the day of the wedding so that you feel comfortable and relaxed on your Big Day. You can either have the makeup artist meet you at your home or you go to them. There should be a through phone conversation prior to trial and the artist should know exactly what questions to ask if s/he has wedding experience. Consider having them apply you trial makeup for a prior event that you maybe having... ie: Bridal Shower, Engagement Photos; Bachelorette Party... are just a few. Make sure you can communicate well with your artist and when selecting a makeup artist, make sure s/he has been trained in makeup for photography!!!. It is very important to wear and use the proper type and amount of makeup for photographs.
