Who Am I and What Makes Me Unique?

Even though most weddings encompass similar elements, my films are all unique stories that reflect the look and feel of your day. I bring a level of expertise to your wedding film that is unmatched in the area and at a competetive price. The experience of losing someone very close to me has helped me to realize the importannce family and friends and the moments we share. My experience has helped me to see these moments and capture them on film forever.

Shabby Chic

Life Productions specializes in Outdoor Mountain Weddings in the Smoky Mountains of Tennessee and North Georgia. We love Shabby Chic but feel just as comfortable producing a formal event at the Biltmore in Atlanta.

What You Get!

Weddings are it. It's all I do. Its a full time job and I love it. This means I will answer the phone when you call. If I can't get to the phone I will call you back within the hour. I am constantly connected to email, facebook, twitter, texting, the web... all from my can't do without iPhone. I am Available!!

There are many low cost Add-Ons that can make your wedding film even better. Wedding Day Trailers are produced and posted online within one week of your wedding day. The Wedding Day Highlight, a 5-7 minute film, can be produced and uploaded within one month of your big day. These are two great ways to show off your day to all your family and friends while everyone is still excited and talking about the wedding. We can also create your wedding film in any format so you can watch it on your computer, you iPhone, you iPad... virtually anywhere.

I know weddings are expensive and a great wedding film is costly. To help you out, I can setup payment plans for you and can also setup automatic withdrawals to make it even easier for you. So Easy!! What can I say about this wedding. Beautiful Blairsville, GA mountains, outdoor wedding, perfect weather, beautiful bride and handsome groom. Everything was perfect. Amy had some problems that morning with her original venue for getting her hair and makeup done so we all ended up at a little restaurant that was closed on Saturday and we took over the place. People were knocking on the door to come in and eat but we had to turn them away. Then on the Southern Tree Plantation where Jon David and Amy were married. Afterwards it was just a short walk over to the barn where the reception was held complete with absolutely the best band I have ever heard play at a wedding and at least one of the top 10 bands I've ever heard, Connor Christian and Southern Gothic. Man, they were so good.. I had to include them on this highlight. Give it a watch. Jon David and Amy, thank you so much for allowing me to be part of your wonderful day.

We were not going to do a video because of the cost, but a friend of mine convinced me to at least meet with a few videographers before making up my mind. I looked at some web sites and packages and just didn't see any quality that matched the cost. Then I found Shane. We met with him and saw some of his previous work which we were impressed with. He was very nice and very informative about the benefits of having a video. So we decided to go ahead and book him. I am SO glad we did.

Over the next few months we really got to know Shane. He went to the farm to get a feeling of what the wedding day would be like. He made an effort to get to know us and find out exactly what we wanted out of the video, so that it would be so much more personal. He really went out of his way to make everything special.

The Video - Well, let me just say this...since we had a small wedding, we had another small reception a few weeks after the wedding for some friends and family who didn't come to the ceremony. Since we wouldn't have the complete video before the reception, he made us a short highlights video to take with us. I cried the first time I saw it...so did my husband and so did everyone at the reception. It was amazing and got rave reviews. It captured everything that we felt that day. Everyone wanted to know who the videographer was.

Later we got the entire video and it was no less perfect than the short highlight film. We love watching it over and over again. In fact, it was so great that we spoke to several different friends months after our wedding who had happened to find Shane, but didn't know that he had done our wedding. When they met with him, he showed our video and they all said they cried and of course booked him. Now, even my cousin who lives in Macon, GA is using him rather than finding someone in her area.

You just can't go wrong with Life Productions. You also can't go wrong with getting a video of your wedding. I'm so thankful to my friend for convincing me to do it, and I am even more thankful to Shane for doing such an amazing job.
