About
I believe that the art of photography has the power to impact people in ways other art forms cannot. We have all experienced what a great picture looks and feels like. When everything comes together and the emotion, honesty, and heart of our treasured memories is captured in that magic box. I feel blessed and honored to be a photographer. I cannot think of many ‘jobs’ where the clients you serve are in midst of the most joyful and momentous occasions of their lives. To my current and future clients, thank you for choosing me for such a responsibility! I am honored to get to know so many of you so intimately.

I’ve been in love with the art form since I was a little girl when I got my first hot pink 110 camera for Christmas. I was in awe—and I’ve had a passion for it every since. I studied photography formally at the University of North Texas earning my degree in Fine Arts.  I continue to focus on furthering my education, staying on the cutting edge of photographic processes and artistry.

I strive to capture evocative heart-felt images with honesty. I work hard to create a balance between what you both need (documentary) and want (artistry) in your imagery. When you look back at photographs taken by Kristin Greenlee, you will see a timeless family treasure presented in a form to last for generations.

Please take a look around my website and Blog, and if you like what you see, contact me for a consultation  (call 817.683.6838 or e-mail at kristin@kristingreenlee.com)
Looking forward to hearing from you,
Kristin

We proof most images in both color and black and white and offer our Signature Collection which includes re-touching and special tonings of our favorite images!

Do you have experience shooting in various lighting situations?
We can shoot in all types of lighting. We do prefer natural light over artificial light sources, but frequently take advantage of multiple lighting techniques. Our technical skills should never be a worry for our clients!

Is your media preference film or digital?
We now photograph our events 100 percent digitally. Allowing a variety of creative options and control!

How many photographers do you work with?
This depends on the package you book. Kristin brings an assistant/second shooter to weddings where 6 hours or more of coverage is booked. Associates bring an assistant when more than 8 hours of coverage is booked.

Do you guarantee your presence at the actual event?
If coverage is booked with a particular photographer that is who will be shooting your wedding. You won't be getting whoever happens to be available, however we are people to! If there is an event/situation outside of our control, we do reserve the right to dispatch a comparable photographer (i.e. hospitalized due to illness, severe car accident, death in the family... just keep in mind we're going to do EVERYTHING we can to fulfill our contractual obligation!)

Do you sometimes book yourself for more than one event in a day? Weekend?
We do not book one photographer to shoot more than one wedding per day and we chose to take Sundays off!

Do you have a replacement photographer in case you become unavailable on the day of the event?
If coverage is booked with a particular photographer that is who will be shooting your wedding. You won't be getting whoever happens to be available, however we are people to! We bring a wide variety of only the best professional digital camera equipment, lenses, and lighting.

Do you bring back-up equipment to the event in case of malfunction?
Any pro who doesn't wouldn't be much of a pro. We are always prepared in the event our primary equipment fails!

Do you charge hourly or full day?
Coverage options vary!

Are you available to shoot extra hours? If yes, how much do you charge for extra hours?
Our packages allow for a range of coverage hours (less than 6, 6-8, and up to 12) so overtime isn't typically an issue, but our rates to overstay our contract are at $200 per hour.

Typically only one to eat!

Proofs are always offered via private online website for friends and family and many of our packages also offer hardbound proof books.

How long can the client keep the proofs?
Proofs stay online 3 months and are re-released during the holiday season (Nov-Dec). Proof books that come with your package are yours forever!

We retain the copyright, but if digital negatives are included in your package, you will get print usage (meaning you can make prints wherever you like and have a copy of the full resolution images)

Do you reserve the right to publish the photos?
Yes, our images are our livelyhood and we reserve the right to publish them in samples, online/website, advertising, etc.

Do you provide the digital files and/or negatives (or copies of the negatives) to the client?
All of our current packages include the cost of digital negatives on DVD (includes all the images you see online) valued at $500. You will get your digital negatives with the delivery of your album or keepsake book. Please note that you must have a DVD drive to be able tosee these on your computer (there are too many to fit on a standard CD!)

Will images be available for viewing online?
Yes!

What kind of albums do you offer?
We offer a variety of gorgeous custom designed albums and books. Please see our website under the Collection page to find out more about our unique product line!

When will the client get the final album?
After you view proofs we invite you back in for an album consultation and which point we finalize your album design and order your book. Final delivery is typically 8-10 weeks from this date. The sooner you come in after the wedding, the sooner you get your book!
