Krista did a fantastic job capturing my surprise proposal at our family's property in the redwoods. We did an engagement photo session directly after and I will cherish the photos from this day forever! She was great at helping us pose and creating prompts for us since my fiancé and I had never done professional photos together. I highly recommend Krista's work!

Krista is an absolute gem! She did an impeccable job with both my engagement and wedding photos. Not only is she a talented photographer, but she has such a warm smile and positive energy that makes the whole photo-taking experience so much fun!

From planning meetings to location scouting, she is super professional and always came prepared. She was very understanding when we rescheduled our wedding date due to Covid, and when the day finally came, I took great comfort in knowing that she would take care of documenting every moment. My husband and I couldn't be happier with how the photos turned out and are so grateful that what felt like a perfect day to us was captured so perfectly. We are so thankful that she was willing to drive out to Sacramento for both the engagement shoot and wedding. And even after the wedding, Krista went above and beyond to return my husband's sunglasses to him (somehow, in the midst of wedding day festivities and various photo sessions, Krista ended up with them in her pocket and we forgot to get them from her).

Hiring Krista was probably the best decision we made when planning our wedding. The photos she took of our engagement shoot and wedding were just amazing and priceless. We look at them often to relive our wedding day. I'm just so happy that I chose her and now have those precious memories captured so perfectly. Of course, I am biased since it was our special day. But everyone I share the photos with has the same reaction and comments on how high quality the photos are. They seriously look like something you'd find in a wedding magazine, or on Pinterest.

A little background on why I chose her. I found her by doing a Google image search for weddings at our venue (Gamble Garden) and somehow stumbled into photos she had taken. When I contacted her, she was super responsive and professional. I had reached out to a handful of other photographers I found on Yelp and other wedding planning sites. Krista very quickly stood out from the others b'c she was very persistent about the lighting when discussing what hours we wanted to book. Persistent in a polite non-pushy way, but in a way that really showed that she cared about the outcome of the photos. None of the other photographers even mentioned the time of day and the ideal lighting.

After we did our engagement shoot with her, we were hooked! It was just unreal how high quality the photos were. So we decided we'd add another hour of her service to our wedding day. My only regret is that we didn't hire her for the entire day. I think the time we booked her for ended about an hour before the wedding ended. We have tons and tons of amazing photos. But after seeing how amazing they all came out, I just wish we had also had her around to capture that last hour.

When deciding on her, I couldn't find many reviews for her. That’s why I want to share my positive experience. She was a gem of a find and I want others to have their memories captured as beautifully.

We hired Krista for our engagement and wedding photos and wow! We've never had professional photos taken before and were pretty nervous about being in front of a camera. Having someone snap your photo doesn't always feel natural, but Krista helped create a comfortable atmosphere where we were able to be ourselves. I first booked Krista for my 12/15/12 wedding about a full year in advance. I had already seen a lot of her work and wanted to make sure to lock in my date.
I'm glad I did! Krista was on time, very professional, and really worked well with me and my family on the day of. She got beautiful shots, both posed and candid, of me getting ready, the wedding party, ceremony, family, reception- everything! I was worried about running late because I had heard that a lot of times it's difficult to round everyone up for pictures but the day went off without a hitch! (well, one hitch! ;)

Now, about 6 weeks later, I am very please to have already receive my photos and they are all very beautiful! SO many to choose from for gifts or albums!
