The Monahans photographed our engagement photos and our wedding, and we are so glad they did! Not only are they easy going and fun, but they are super talented. We are so in love with all of the photos they took - especially our wedding photos in which they captured every moment perfectly. We love that we have these photos forever with options to download web-size or high resolution, for any social media posting or printing needs. If we ever need a photographer again, we will be calling Monahan Photography!

Kevin and Alicia were our wedding photographers, and I can’t even begin to sing their praises enough!! My father was a professional photographer for several years, so I was pretty picky when it came to choosing my wedding photographer. I wanted sharp, clear images with great color and contrast. Kevin and Alicia did just that! I was blown away by our wedding photos. I have seen some wedding photos where they are blurred or washed out, but all our photos were crisp and clean. We put Kevin and Alicia to the test - we went from inside a church with mixed lighting and bright stained-glass windows, to a sunny outdoor garden, then to a dark reception hall but the lighting and sharpness in every photo was consistent. You could see all the details even in the reception hall photos and we didn’t have harsh shadows or washed-out photos in our garden pictures. Kevin and Alicia not only know photography inside and out, but they also know how to work with people. They were kind and personable, took charge when needed, and helped direct people where they needed to go when we did large, group family photos! I had a few moments where I became incredibly nervous. Alicia was calm and steady, walking me through the most natural poses, fixing my train and veil, and helping me navigate wedding traditions while also accommodating what we wanted (ie. When doing a first look, should my almost husband wear his ring?).
Your wedding day just goes by so fast. Kevin and Alicia were on top of it the ENTIRE day. They captured all the details that often get overlooked but told our love story. They captured interactions between our guests and between family members. They captured our spontaneity and the heart of our crew. It has been three months since our wedding, and I still cannot stop looking at all our pictures! We get to relive our wedding day every time we look at these pictures. My husband and I are unbelievably grateful that I will have these memories for the rest of our lives, and it means so much to us that Kevin and Alicia captured them as perfectly as they did. 

We hired Monahan Photography for our NYE 2020 wedding before the pandemic hit. We had a wonderful experience with them during our engagement session which had us even more excited to work with them for our wedding. Once our plans started turning upside down, Alicia and Kevin were so flexible and easy to work with. Then on the big day, we could not have been more thrilled with them. They are so fun and easy to be around, and more importantly, they take AMAZING photos. We were so impressed by how well they captured the spirt and happiness of our day. They were very timely in getting the photos to us, the platform for sending the photos was easy to use and share with friends/family, and we felt they are very reasonably priced. Overall, we had a wonderful experience with them and would 100% recommend over and over again.

I cannot emphasize how amazing Monahan photography really is! Right after we met Kevin and Alicia, my now husband and I decided we would be booking them. The quality of their work is incredible. We had the best time and felt so comfortable and relaxed during our engagement session. During our wedding day, I felt so at ease knowing they would get the most beautiful pictures. They are both so organized and creative, it took so much stress out of the entire wedding planning process. We 100% plan on using them for family pictures and any other events in the future. They are the best in the business!!

Kevin & Alicia Monahan are two of the most incredibly-talented and genuinely kind people I have ever met. From the moment my now husband and I met them, it was clear that they view photography as an art form rather than an obligation. The attention to detail, editing, color, and contrast they put into our wedding photos had family and friends IN AWE. I myself was in tears scanning through the images for the first time. It was so amazing to have a married couple shoot our engagement session and wedding photos because who knows couples better than a married couple themselves? My husband immediately felt relaxed because of Kevin's male presence, and Alicia was able to capture emotional moments that were completely candid and beautiful. Our package included 10 hours of day-of coverage, but the Monahans put in even more time than that to make my vision a reality. Not only that, but they guided us through the day so seamlessly that nothing got missed or forgotten! And OH MY GOD, how they are able to capture light! The photos speak for themselves! Thank you Monahans for giving me the fairytale photos I always wanted!

We can’t say enough good things about Kevin and Alicia Monahan! They were willing to customize a wedding day + engagement session package just for us. They are such kind and fun people that it made us more at ease when we did have our photos taken (and we are not usually comfortable being the center of attention). Seriously….we want to keep in touch with them even after our big day! Kevin and Alicia also make a great team so you know the final product will be amazing. Monahan was also the only vendor we worked with who had a fully-automated online contract process (no signing, scanning, and emailing required!). Being confident in our choice of photographer put us more at ease leading up to our wedding day. Thank you both for helping make us feel so special!

We loved working with Kevin and Alicia. Not only did our pictures turn out beautiful, but their easy going nature yet professionalism and experience really made our day worry free. From capturing our candid moments with each other throughout the day, our special moments with our family members, and everything in between, they really captured every aspect of our special day. My husband and I loved every minute we spent with Kevin and Alicia! We used them for my boudoir shoot, our engagement pictures, and our wedding pictures and we could not have chosen a more amazing photography team. Alicia was incredibly helpful and always available when questions came up. They worked with us throughout the whole process to make sure we were ready for every session we had. Neither me or my husband feel like we're overly photogenic but they made us comfortable throughout the whole process. Our wedding party felt the same way about them as well. We had so much fun each time we were with them. Every time we got photos back we immediately shared them with family and friends and everyone we showed was so impressed with how beautiful they were. If I could give a 10 out of 5 I would. We worked with Alicia and Kevin starting with our Engagement Session and they have been absolutely awesome throughout the whole process. They made us feel so comfortable, they are awesome to work with, and the pictures are amazing... they are worth every penny!!!!!!!!!!!
