We absolutely loved working with Kate. She is incredibly kind, sweet, and patient, and her talent for capturing events in an honest and pure way is remarkable. My husband and I are a bit camera shy, so Kate's approach to candid wedding photography fit us perfectly. We also didn't want to spend hours taking posed, stiff photos, and Kate was on the same page with that, which allowed us to enjoy more of our wedding day. I think that Kate's inclusion of a "getting to know you" session (similar to an engagement shoot) was a brilliant way to break the ice and also improved the value of her services even more. On our wedding day, Kate somehow managed (alone, might I add!) to capture sweet, intimate moments as well as wider atmospheric shots and the landscape of the wedding venue. She has an incredible eye and I would absolutely recommend her.

Finding the right wedding photographer's was one of the most important vendor decisions.
Kate is an amazing wedding photographer, and was one of the first people we signed. I wanted someone who I knew I could trust to capture the day, as it was, and all the emotions and people that were there celebrating us. We also didn't want a lot of posed photos as we didn't have a bridal party, and Kate was our perfect fit. Her use of light and ability to capture both beautiful natural scenery and people and their emotions is incredible. We just received the proofs - and looking through them - I couldn't believe how all the moments that were captured truly helped us relive our day. And on top of it all - she is one of the sweetest people you could meet. She calms you down and makes you comfortable, and all the while helps you and your partner really focus on each other!

Where do I begin? Working with Kate was a dream. I feel so lucky that we found her and she was able to capture such a special moment in our lives. Kate is awesome at communicating! For a type A bride, I can get a little email happy and Kate was always thoughtful and responsive. Her 'getting to know you' session was a wonderful idea and after the jitters wore off it was like we were hanging out with an old friend. This was huge for the day of the wedding, already knowing her and her style! What I liked most about having Kate shoot our wedding is that she never forced shots or posed people. She was there to capture (beautifully!) what happened organically throughout the day.
