Do you offer special techniques such as hand-coloring or toning?
Any special effect a bride has seen we can do and as a matter of fact have been doing them before they were popular.
Do you have experience shooting in various lighting situations?
We understand and specialize in all types of lighting. Candleight, nightscapes, with windowlight being our best. It is soft, flattering, and very forgiving in making you look your best.
Is your media preference film or digital?
Digital. We've been doing digtal capture well before it became the rage. Digital can be very trickey if you don't understand it. We worked out all the bugs many years ago and use only the finest and most expensive equipment available today.
How many photographers do you work with?
Generally one, but two if the size of the wedding warrants it and sometimes three.
Do you guarantee your presence at the actual event?
Yes
Do you sometimes book yourself for more than one event in a day? Weekend?
No
Do you have a replacement photographer in case you become unavailable on the day of the event?
Yes. We always have a backup.
What kind of equipment do you typically bring with you on the day-of?
2 to 3 cameras and an assortment of lenses.
Do you bring back-up equipment to the event in case of malfunction?
ABSOLUTELY. Everything is duplicated.
Do you charge hourly or full day?
Both. Whatever the bride prefers. We are very flexible
Are you available to shoot extra hours? If yes, how much do you charge for extra hours?
Yes. $200.00/hr but this price includes all the Hi Resolution images plus 4x5 original photos. It is not a service few
What is your policy on taking breaks? If you require a meal break, do you require that the client provide your meal?
NONE. We spend all the time with the bride that she requires.
Do you charge for travel?
Only outside of an hours drive from St.Louis
How soon after the event are the proofs ready for viewing?
7 days
In what format are the initial proofs offered?
DVD, 4x6 proofs, web.
How long can the client keep the proofs?
Forever. 4x6 original prints are included with all our plans
Do you retain the copyright for the photos?
Yes, but we give brides a release on all photos
Do you reserve the right to publish the photos?
Yes
Do you provide the digital files and/or negatives (or copies of the negatives) to the client?
Yes
Will images be available for viewing online?
