About
You’re on your way to becoming a blushing bride…Savor it! Planning a wedding can be hectic, emotional and time-consuming, but for us, it’s not just a job, it’s who we are. We may be suckers for beautiful details: The delightful little personal touches with handcrafted charm. In a nutshell? The eye candy. But, believe it or not, we're also head over heels for the nitty gritty -- the not so pretty behind-the-scenes technical aspects --of event coordination: Budgets. Floor plans. Schedules. Hey, it’s a dirty job, but we're happy to be the ones doing it.

We strive to bring your vision to life and to open your imagination to what's possible, while helping you navigate the planning process, whether you’re hosting a wedding for 300 or a bridal shower for 30. Do you dream of feeling the sand beneath your feet in a tropical seaside ceremony? Sipping wine amongst the grapevines during an eco-chic cocktail hour at a rustic vineyard? Or dancing the night away at a black-tie reception in an elegant ballroom with a city skyline view? Whatever your style or budget, and with a focus on individualization and customization, we create memorable one-of-a-kind weddings. From the story of how you met or your first date to family traditions or ethnic culture, we look for the elements that make you unique to create an affair that’s uniquely you.

By working side-by-side with our clients, we produce events that are beautifully designed and flawlessly executed, whether it’s with two weeks or two years of planning. No matter if you're an uber-busy couple with no time to plan or a bride who has it all together, but needs a little help tying up the loose ends, In The Pink Weddings & Events offers our clients a wide range of services and packages that can be tailored to suit your needs including:

I cannot say enough about Stacey with In the Pink Weddings & Events! We recently photographed a wedding coordinated by Stacey with In the Pink Events. As a photographer, I had a unique experience with the wedding coordinator. I truly felt that she saw each vendor as a member of her team. We all worked together to create the best experience for our clients. I initially met Stacey several months before the wedding at a walk through with the client at the venue. Her energy and enthusiasm was both evident and contagious. I immediately knew that this was going to be an excellent wedding! At this initial meeting, our clients discussed the vision of their wedding. When Michael and I arrived at venue on the wedding day, the entire set up exactly what the clients had described in that initial meeting. The wedding was a perfect English Garden celebration! Each detail reflected the theme and complimented the overall look of the ceremony and reception site. The details were unique, personal, and well thought-out. Stacey?s attitude was wonderfully up beat during the entire wedding day. She was enjoyable to be around and to work with. Our clients enjoyed their wedding day without a thought to the schedule or how to solve any issue that arose ? although I must say I think this was the first wedding without some sort of glitch! Surprise!! One of the things that struck me the most with In the Pink Weddings was Stacey's ability to identify and execute the perfect surprise for her couples. She was able to keep the surprise and add it into the wedding day easily! She kept us informed and our clients enjoyed a beautiful horse and carriage ride, which was perfect for them! Stacey describes herself as a cross between Cosmo and Martha Stewart. This is completely accurate in the absolute best way! I admire her creativity, hard work and constant smile on her face complete with positive attitude! We hope and look forward to working with her in the future!
You can rely on Stacey of In The Pink Event Planning for all of your planning needs. It is always a pleasure to work with Stacey, her attention to detail is as impressive as her talent for creative design and event execution. Stacey captures her clients vision for each event and translates it into a perfect reality. I embrace every opportunity to work with Stacey and look forward to our next event together! Enjoy!
Stacey truly works from the heart, paying great attention to all details. Her bubbly and energetic personality will reassure you that you will be in good hands through the whole experience. She truly is amazing at what she does; you will not go wrong by choosing "In The Pink Events".
Stacey is a pleasure to work with! She's very organized and professional. For each of the wedding ceremonies I worked with Stacey, she had a cue sheet printed out for the musicians and made it very easy and clear to follow. She answered all my questions very promptly and was very helpful. (Thank you, Stacey!) Even though she was overseeing the whole event, it was clear that she was on top of it.
Stacey is a talented professional, paying attention to the finer details. Locations by Kaycie and Critic's Choice looks forward to a long lasting relationship!

Frequently Asked Questions for Wedding Planning

Civil, Destination, Eco-Friendly / Green

What wedding planning services do you offer?

What style of wedding do you specialize in planning?

Additional Questions and Answers
Why do I need to hire a wedding planner?
A typical bride will spend over 200 hours planning their wedding. Think about it, that’s 5 full work weeks! Hiring a planner obviously saves you the time and energy of researching vendors and handling the endless tiny details. We can also often save you money by negotiating better rates with vendors. Good planners will help you come up with a theme & style and provide you with creative ideas to bring it all to life. I think the biggest misconception about hiring a planner is that we take the control away from you, and that you won’t be part of the creative process. That’s not the case. We provide guidance and advice, working with you every step of the way, ensuring that your visions for your wedding day come to fruition. Perhaps the most important thing we do is make sure that your big day is stress-free. You just show up and enjoy! And isn’t that what you want for the most important day of your life?

Can you accommodate couples who want to be environmentally friendly? Green is one of my favorite colors! I've passed savvySustainability certification and can put you on the path to leaving a smaller carbon footprint as you walk down the aisle. Nowadays, there are a number of vendors in every category dedicated to saving the environment, and when you combine them with a little common sense (keeping the three R's in mind of course), we can produce an eco-conscious event that's still elegant and stylish.

What other services do you provide?
For brides on a tight budget, I offer floral and stationery design. I also design jewelry and can customize to match bridesmaids dresses, which makes a great gift!

Do you accept "kickbacks" from vendors or suppliers? Nope. Any discounts offered to me are forwarded to my clients as additional savings to them.

Tips and Advice
Do you have champagne tastes and only a beer budget? There are plenty of way to still WOW your guests, even if you're pinching pennies. If you simply must have that fabu location, try booking it on an off-day, Sunday through Thursday or during January-March when the wedding season is typically slow. Not only will the location fee be less costly, but many vendors, such as florists, caterers and entertainment providers, also offer lower rates for their services. Trust me, nobody would choose siting around watching "Golden Girl" reruns over business, especially in these tough economic times. The hour of day also makes a difference. Host a brunch or lunch time reception instead of a sit-down dinner. People are less likely to drink as much and the food will be more cost-effective. You might also consider a soft bar: non-alcoholic beverages, beer, wine & champagne, as opposed to a full bar. And no, a cash bar is never a good way to go. Never. Ever. It's a wedding, not happy hour at the local pub. Do you really need a six-tier fondant cake? Why not get a smaller one, then have sheet cake cut in the back to serve. Last, you might try your hand at some clever yet elegant DIY details that are inexpensive to do, yet still leave a lasting impression. For example, instead of renting a table runner, try using large pieces of coordinating scrapbooking paper under your centerpieces. Speaking of centerpieces, floating flowers instead of lush arrangements can cut your flower budget drastically (and it's more eco-friendly!). Ditto with using fruit, candles, or other non-traditional items. You can even save on your dress and shoes--Target and J. Crew both carry bridal lines, or you can rent a designer dress for a fraction of what it would cost to purchase it. I looked high & low for my own wedding shoes, but couldn't find the perfect ones I had envisioned... until I went to (are you sitting down?) ROSS! Yep, $25 for the silver strappy kitten-heeled sandals I had been dreaming of. You never know where you're going to find those bargains, so don't give up. And remember, just because it is cheap, doesn’t mean it’s going to look cheap…
