I was so happy to find Liz because she was the whole package. Her talent for taking photos and capturing "the moment" is evident in the photos. She responded quickly and always responds quickly when you contact her. Her prices were the best, and I went through a ton of photographers in my search. She is so friendly and warm over the phone and I couldn't wait to meet her. She met and surpassed all my expectations. I now have photos of one of the best days of my life, and Liz captured that for us.

Liz is phenomenal. It rained the night of our wedding, very hard. Liz did an excellent job making it work that night and offered to come back to our sight the next night to “recreate” what we couldn’t get the first night. I don’t think many others would have done that. Highly recommend without even an ounce of hesitation!

Liz is an incredibly talented photographer. She has a unique eye for detail and captured so many special moments at our wedding. She was warm & enthusiastic and made everyone feel comfortable at our wedding. Photography is clearly her labor of love. Wow! I am blown away with the photos from our wedding! Liz did a phenomenal job. She was extremely professional. She arrived early to the wedding and stayed after her contract time to ensure we got our sunset photos. She was assertive with the group to make sure we got all of the family photos and was creative and energetic while directing poses. The day after the wedding she gave us "sample" photos with about 30 shots that we could share immediately. She got us the rest of our pictures within the time period she predicted. I received over 700 photos and they are all beautiful! I am very pleased with her editing. I highly recommend Liz! We will cherish the pictures she took forever!

My husband and I got married at Shipwrecks Beach on the island of Kauai. We had Liz the owner and amazing photographer of Imagesbyliz take our photos. She was so caring and sweet when she showed up to take the pre wedding photos. I was still getting ready and was nervous and frazzled with friends and family starting to arrive. Liz was such an amazing help. She helped my guests arrive and get to the location on the beach with absolute GRACE and CALM COORDINATION. I was able to totally relax into the enjoyment of our wedding. Liz has a natural ability as a photographer to capture the true love of the bride and groom AND the tropical beauty of the island.THE PHOTOS CAME OUT POST CARD PERFECT!!!! She made sure to get photos of everyone at the wedding. As well as group photos after the wedding. The BEST PART was that my husband and I had decided to jump off the cliff as part of our ceremony. (TAKE THE PLUNGE). Liz happily waited for me to be emotionally ready and to change clothes. Then she escorted us on to the cliff to do an amazing photo shoot before we jumped. Liz was able to capture the LOVE and EMOTION that we had for each other before taking the plunge into THE BOND OF MARRIAGE, A NEW LIFE TOGETHER and THE OCEAN. For a once in a lifetime, spit second memory of jumping off a cliff together she was able to capture it perfectly. Since there is no 2nd chance to capture the moment, it truly showed her amazing ability as a photographer. DO YOURSELF A FAVOR BRIDES....YOU CANT GO WRONG WITH SUCH A TALENTED PHOTOGRAPHER TAKING CARE OF ALL OF YOUR EXPECTATIONS. She also got my photos back to me faster than all of my girlfriends that have gotten married. I am writing this review because I hope it helps other couple's who may be navigating the wedding planning process (particularly if you are planning a destination wedding like we did). Planning from afar can be a daunting task, and a leap of faith that the vendors you choose will be everything you hope for.
I did an exhaustive search when it came to finding a photographer for our wedding. While all elements of a wedding are important, capturing the moments of our wedding day by a professional and experienced photographer was at the top of our priority list. I found Liz at Images by Liz early on in my search. I loved her images and called her right away. The first thing people should know about Liz is that her sweet, gentle manner is completely genuine and is reflection of her professionalism and dedication to her craft. She is a true artist. After leaving no stone unturned and basically searching out every photographer on the island (and even some photographers on Oahu), it was very clear that Liz was going to provide not only the most artistic, best photographs, but she was going to be a delight to work with.

My instincts were spot on! Liz was always very prompt in responding to my questions, and also very knowledgable and helpful in providing suggestions for what would work best for my overall vision of our wedding day. She went out of her way to even help provide me the names of other reputable vendors for our wedding.

Our wedding was an amazing experience. Like every wedding, something unexpected will arise. Ours was the weather. when you marry in paradise, be prepared for rain! It rained steadily throughout our wedding day but Liz did not miss a beat. She knows how to work with any given situation. Our day was the happiest day of my life, and Liz captured that happiness in images I will treasure for life. Our photographs are absolutely stunning! I highly recommend Images by Liz to anyone looking for a consummate photographer.

Liz was the photographer for my wedding this past weekend in beautiful Kauai and she was absolutely amazing. I have not even seen the full set of photos yet and I cannot say enough good things about her, her photography and her services.

We chose Liz a while back in the planning process based on a recommendation by our coordinator and a review of her beautiful online portfolios. We did not get in touch with her until a couple of weeks before the wedding, but arranged to meet with her in person a couple of days prior to the big day.

As soon as we met with Liz a a local coffee shop, we immediately felt a fantastic, friendly and laid back vibe and knew we had made the right decision. As a generally high-strung, Type A person trying to micro-manage the other details of my wedding, I immediately felt at ease when talking to her. We simply told her at a high level what type of photos each of us liked (candid vs. posed), a few details about the wedding, and we let her work her magic.

And, magic it was. She was SO great with our friends and family both at our house and at the wedding. She could not possibly have been more friendly and professional, while also having a good time. She ensured that we got shots with every family/friend member at the wedding as well as several amazing group shots.

She then took my husband and I closer to the beach for some personal closeups and sunset shots and the results were nothing short of stunning (despite some rain showers just minutes before!!) -- and I am basing this only on the small sample set she provided to us the very next day!

Liz is a very special and talented artist and I would recommend her without reservation if you are looking for wedding photography on Kauai. The value for the services cannot be beat, either.

We will definitely be meeting her next year for some one year anniversary shots!
