Hudson Studio has been one of the premiere studios in the Toledo, Ohio, southeast Michigan area for nearly 35 years. A staff of seasoned professionals together with young, fresh ideas and photographers, we are able to cover all styles and needs of your wedding day.  My name is Janet Hudson and I’ve photographed over 2500 weddings.  I love shooting weddings and since the digital revolution, it’s even more exciting than ever before.  There is nothing more exciting than working with a couple on their wedding day.  The romance, the fun, the excitement, the emotion....how could you ever not love it?  
I personally work at each wedding with a budding, wonderful young woman photographer who helps in covering the photojournalist areas of the wedding while I work on the "necessary" photographs and portraits.  It makes for a wonderful combination of photography that covers every inch of your wedding day.  We shoot in color, black and white, and do exciting special effects shots, too.    What you won’t have in the end is a bunch of non-shots...photographs that anyone could take.  We pride ourselves in capturing the special moments, the emotion, the laughter and elegance of of your day in a professional, yet fun way.  

I have spents years learning the nuances of portraiture...how to make each person look their very best.  The best pose, the best lighting, and making sure that everyone feels at ease in front of the camera so we get the best expressions.
