Do you offer special techniques such as hand-coloring or toning?
We do black and white and combination of both color and black and white.
Do you have experience shooting in various lighting situations?
After 2600+ weddings, we seen it ALL!
Is your media preference film or digital?
We can do either or both, but prefer digital.
How many photographers do you work with?
Most weddings we shoot with two photographers...one to do the necessary normal coverage and another to do capture the photojournalist, candid shots.
Do you guarantee your presence at the actual event?
As best as can be....the only thing that would stop me is if I was run over by a truck...LOL!
Do you sometimes book yourself for more than one event in a day? Weekend?
Of course...we have three photographer's on staff and can cover more than one wedding on a day. All are guaranteed professional photographers and have been with me for over 20 years. They know their "stuff"!
Do you have a replacement photographer in case you become unavailable on the day of the event?
Yes, this is where having several qualified photographers on staff comes in handy and gives you peace of mind, too.
What kind of equipment do you typically bring with you on the day-of?
Lots of equipment...I personally bring no less than seven cameras and accessories to go with them to each wedding. It's a once in a lifetime event, you can't take it lightly.
Do you bring back-up equipment to the event in case of malfunction?
Oh, yes! Much back up equipment.
Do you charge hourly or full day?
Either way, depending on the circumstances and bride's needs.
Are you available to shoot extra hours? If yes, how much do you charge for extra hours?
Yes, and we charge $175 per hour.
What is your policy on taking breaks? If you require a meal break, do you require that the client provide your meal?
Normally, the only break we get is the one between the wedding/2nd location and the reception.
Do you charge for travel?
After 50 miles.
How soon after the event are the proofs ready for viewing?
Between 7-10 days.
In what format are the initial proofs offered?
This depends on the package that the couple chooses. We have all.
How long can the client keep the proofs?
Disks are included with most packages.
Do you retain the copyright for the photos?
Again, depending on the package. We do both.
Do you reserve the right to publish the photos?
Yes, we do.
Do you provide the digital files and/or negatives (or copies of the negatives) to the client?
yes.
Will images be available for viewing online?
Yes, we upload them to our website and they are availble for viewing up to three months.
What kind of albums do you offer?
You name it, we have it.
When will the client get the final album?
The final book is available about 3 to 4 weeks after you order your photographs.
