User2223347 Sent on 07/13/2015I was so impressed with the photographers at Hudson Studio of Photography! The two photographers on our wedding day were so professional and fun. They were very flexible and stayed long into our reception to capture everything that we asked. They brought their own ideas, but were not overbearing and took direction. The photos turned out beautifully! Jan did a great job communicating and was a pleasure to work with! -
User1675059 Sent on 06/23/2014They were absolutely amazing!! The entire wedding was great. After the ceremony we were very very time crunched at the church and everyone was getting pretty stressed out and our photographer handled all of that pressure perfectly. She was so nice, helped get everyone where they needed to be, and helped us out of the church quickly. She was amazing. I cannot say enough nice things about these photographers. I can't wait to see the final product but already know how beautiful these pictures will be. Hudson Studio of Photography was excellent to work with, simple as that!

User1010240 Sent on 11/09/2012Janet was awesome! Our engagement pictures turned out great and some of the best pictures of my husband and I! Both Monica and Jen were awesome the day of our wedding and came up with some really creative shots! We love all of our pictures that we got from Janet. Turns out she also photographed my parents wedding, so it's great that we have a sort of tradition going in our family now! We will continue to use Hudson Studio for all of our photography needs!

User2214945 Sent on 07/07/2015My husband and I used Hudson Studio of Photography for both our engagement and wedding photography. Jan and Paul did a simply phenomenal job with the pictures. She is extremely reasonable with her price and will work to give you what you want. Because our wedding was on a Friday evening, we were able to negotiate a lower price, and still get the services we were looking for. Jan and Paul were both at the ceremony location before the wedding party, and made sure that locations with plenty of sun and color were selected before we were ready. The only "complaint" (not even a complaint, just a just-roll-with-it situation) was the timeline on receiving the finished pictures. We were told that it would take about 2 weeks to get the final products, when it took 4. We also didn't find out that the pictures were ready until we had asked Jan about it. Again, it's not really a complaint. I received the pictures, which were absolutely gorgeous, along with a beautifully printed and bound photo book. If you need a photographer to work within a particular budget, who has years and years of experience, look no further. -
User970951 Sent on 10/12/2012While Janet was an awesome person and the photos she has displayed online are gorgeous the actual photos taken at my wedding were a little less than what I expected. The photographers that came to take the pictures were kind of pushy but lacked good ideas for pictures. The wouldn't listen to me about what pictures I wanted were and seemed to really rush the whole process so much that I look uncomfortable and stressed in most of my photos. While we did get a few good shots I feel like we didn't take the "classic" wedding day poses and the photographs we received are really missing the essence and ambiance of the day. We had also requested to have a picture with all of our college friends but that never happened as well. Furthermore, the one photographer chose to walk around barefoot for most of the pictures. Overall, the quality of the photographs was a little less than what I had expected.

I feel terrible that you weren't absolutely totally happy with your photographs, as we strive so hard to make sure that everything is covered totally and properly. I remember the day, it was extremely hot and the wedding was outdoors, and the only response that I can give about the barefoot concern was that the wedding was at a place that had rocks and hills and in trying to get the best angle, Monica removed her shoes so as not to break an ankle. She apologized profusely and hopes that you understand. I was so happy with your photos that I used them on our facebook page, but if we missed something, we need to own that. I know it's been over two years, but I just saw this review and I hope that you will accept my apology and if you ever need family or baby photos in the future, just call me....I'll do them at no charge. Jan
