GREAT GREAT GREAT GREAT!!! Thats all I can say! It is my favorite cake! Marzipan strawberry filling, my favorite! What a wonderful job Diane dose!

Diane at Hartmann's is INCREDIBLE. We still hear compliments on how awesome (and tasty) our wedding cake was. If you want a unique cake that people will remember, this is your place. They have SO many different flavors of cake - we went with the Bavarian peach and it was SO good!

Diane was so helpful when we were trying to find cake stands, etc. She was totally onboard when we told her we were making our own cake stands by welding engine parts together (they turned out awesome). She hand delivered the cake to our venue (Hunter Mountain) the day of our wedding - no worries or issues on our end at all. Everything looked and tasted great!

We would recommend this place to anyone!

One word review: Awesome.

If you really need more detail: first and foremost, we wanted a delicious cake. Hartmann’s Kauffeehaus absolutely has that. The cake tasting was fantastic…they just pulled out slices of cake straight from the case. I’m sure you can get any combinations of cakes, fillings, and frostings that you want, but they’ve done such a great job of pairing flavors we actually went with two of their cakes straight from the case. We got the fondant look (but with flavor!) with a marzipan-covered white cake with strawberries, and added a pretty, textured layer with the black forest cake. So we each had our favorites!

As for the presentation, we had a basic concept of a clean, simple-yet-elegant cake. Diane easily helped us hash out the idea with a dark contrasting ribbon trim, and then worked with our florist to add red gerber daisies for a beautiful pop of color.

And lastly we didn't want to spend an unreasonable amount of money--Hartmanns was very well priced.

Diane was great to work with, she’s a fun woman with a great sense of humor. We were 100% happy with our experience! And now we can go back any time to get a slice of our wedding cake again—can’t wait!
