When my husband and I got engaged, we were new to the area and not members of a local church. We really wanted a personal wedding ceremony where the priest knew us and was as excited about our day as we were. That is what we got with Father David. He was really easy to talk to about life and religion. His experience and wisdom were extremely helpful when planning the details for our ceremony. He was flexible with the layout of the ceremony and the location. Father David gave us a beautiful day that we will never forget.

My husband and I were married on September 18, 2010 at Eagle Ridge Resort in Galena, IL by Father David. I cannot sing his praises enough! In the months leading up to our wedding, we arranged several meetings with Father David. He was extremely accommodating, as we live approximately 2 1/2 hours away. We had wonderful conversation with him and he helped us discover what we can do to make our marriage successful. We really got to know Father David as a person as well. On our "Big Day", having that relationship with him made it all the more special. My husband is Methodist and I am Catholic. We discovered that "Free Catholicism" was a great blend of both of our faiths.

We absolutely loved having Father David be a part of our day! He is easy to talk to, he listens, and he made for a very special day. Our families all agreed that we couldn't have found someone more perfect. He helped to guide us in our decisions for the ceremony but in the end, it was ultimately our choice. I couldn't have been happier with our ceremony! It was a perfect day and Father David helped make that possible!

Working with Father David was a wonderful experience. I was able to have the religious ceremony that I hoped for, but he was flexible in a way that the church was not. He was more than responsive to my questions, and actually drove hours to officiate the ceremony. I would highly recommend his services to anyone.
