My husband and I got married here September 10th, it was absolutely amazing! The venue is absolutely breathtaking, and the people are so helpful and wonderful! If you are looking for an elegant but country look for your wedding, then this is your venue!

I was assisting a member of my family who was currently enrolled full time in college and working three jobs to coordinate her wedding. After visiting with multiple locations and not falling in love with a single site, this place took our breath away the moment we walked in. It was the perfect mix of rustic and barn feeling! Carlee was a pleasure to work with through the whole experience, as we booked the venue over a year in advance. We booked the location the evening before to accommodate the rehearsal and rehearsal dinner. Tables and chairs were setup before we arrived and while we did move those around ourselves after dinner was done to prepare for the reception, there was help if we needed it onsite. Carlee was SO helpful as we had a small issue pop up day of the rehearsal dinner and she was kind enough to coordinate a solution and help fix our problem! While they did have to move the original ceremony site due to days of soaking rain the second choice was equally as beautiful. We were able to setup the speakers on the porch for the music and microphone sound for the ceremony. The bride and groom elected to have their cocktail hour and reception inside of the "barn". Double C was able to comfortably accommodate our caterer and band for the reception! Do keep in mind it is packed down dirt, so if you don't want that rustic of a reception you need to elect to rent a tent and party on the concrete! The bride and groom elected to be a bit non traditional as we had corn hole boards outside in the grass and had more of a serve yourself station for the food and beverages. Everyone danced the night away until the lead singer lost his voice. The entire Double C staff was excellent to work with when it came to clean up! They even communicated with us after the event requesting pictures and just wanting to make sure everything went GREAT! I would HIGHLY recommend Double C if this is the style of wedding you are looking to have!
