What types, such as unedited footage or special effects, of videography do you offer?
We do not offer RAW Footage however, we do offer our clients what we like to call "Behind the Scenes Footage". This footage contains clips and sequences that may not have made the final cut within a Feature Film, Highlight, or Same Day Edit however, very important the Bride and Groom.
Describe any special editing services you offer:
We have found that today's couples are more interested in the Short Form (15 - 25 Minute Feature Film) and/or a Wedding Highlight (4 - 6 Minute) or Same Day Edit. This makes it much easier for sharing on Facebook and to be mobile with your product where ever you go... No one has time to sit and watch a two hour wedding video... however, they'll be engaged, and compelled to watch a 20 Minute Feature Film.
Do you have lighting equipment to accommodate a more dimly-lit event?
Yes, Film Making is Capturing Light and having the ability to control it is one of our strongest selling points. We light our receptions with ARRI Video Lighting Equipment which is unobtrusive and safe from guests. This allows us to enhance the mood, and create a cinematic feel to your wedding film.
How many videographers do you work with?
Many of our wedding and events will have a minimum of two Cinematographers. On many occasions we have either a third and fourth Cinematographer, Editor (for Same Day Edits) and assistants.
Does the client get to meet the videographers before the event?
We strive to meet with all our couples two weeks prior to the wedding and or event in order to clarify all the details of the day. Usually its over coffee or tea at a location nearest you. We don't mind the travel time, and we love hearing about your most important day.
Do you guarantee your presence at the actual event?
Yes, At this time we do not have a second team or employee cinematographers.
Do you book yourself for more than one event in a day? Weekend?
No, We only book one event for one day. We do however, may have multiple events on any given weekend.
Do you have a replacement videographer in case you become unavailable on the event day?
We have several cinematographers that we work with as second and third shooters. If in the event we we're unable to shoot during the day of your event we would provide coverage.
What kind of equipment do you typically bring with you on the day-of?
We typically bring our Cameras, Lenses, Tripods, Steadicam, Slider, Jib, Audio Equipment and Lighting.
Do you bring backup equipment to the event in case of malfunction?
Yes, We carry multiple cameras, lenses, and audio equipment in the event of equipment failure.
What is your policy on taking breaks? If you require a meal break, do you require that the client provide your meal?
Yes, we only require a meal during the reception dinner. This is primarily the only time we take a break. Note: We do not shoot during the reception dinner. It makes the guests feel uncomfortable...
Do you charge overtime?
No, We do not have overtime charges. We come early and stay late. If all of the major events have been completed at a reception and we feel that we have captured enough footage for your wedding film we approach the Bride and Groom and ask, if there is anything else they would like us to cover.
Do you give access to your raw footage?
We do not offer RAW Footage however, we do offer our clients what we like to call "Behind the Scenes Footage". This footage contains clips and sequences that may not have made the final cut within a Feature Film, Highlight, or Same Day Edit however, very important the Bride and Groom.
Do you reserve the right to use the video in the future for deals, contents, etc.?
No, We highly respect our client's privacy.
Is the client involved in the editing process? If so, how much input does the client have in editing?
Our clients book us on our ability to tell their story, create a compelling wedding film, to evoke emotion, and to send the viewer on a journey through the events of their most important day... They leave the editing to us...
How long does it take for the client to get the final video?
It depends on what wedding film package has been chosen. Same Day Edits are uploaded to the internet within 24 hours, where is Highlights are shown within 15-30 Days after the Wedding,... Wedding Films and Documentary Edits require much more time and we strive to complete them within 6 Months of the Wedding however, this is not a guarantee based on our wedding schedule and possible international destination wedding we may have.
Do you require a minimum number of hours to book?
If a couple is interested in our services and we send out a quote, we verbally hold their wedding date for two weeks. We encourage couples to shot around. Their are many Wedding Film Makers here in New England. Its is important for our clients to realize the difference between a Wedding Videographer and a Wedding Cinematographer/Film Maker.
