Do you offer special techniques such as hand-coloring or toning?
B&W, sepia, hand-tinted style, and image enhancement at no charge. I color-correct and retouch all of my images, adding my unique style to the final product.
Do you have experience shooting in various lighting situations?
I love to work with the light YOU choose. As a professional, candlelight and bright beaches do not pose any problems for me. I have worked in every lighting situation, from full sun on the beach to intimate candlelight.
Is your media preference film or digital?
I shoot primarily digital images. I love the flexiblility and control offered by digital.
How many photographers do you work with?
I am the photographer at our studio, and have I have other colleagues who occasionally assist with large events. I often bring an assistant and can offer the services of a second photographer for large or complicated events.
Do you guarantee your presence at the actual event?
Yes, you will meet me at the time of the consult or before the event; and you are guaranteed to have me at your entire event as I am the photographer.
Do you sometimes book yourself for more than one event in a day? Weekend?
Do you sometimes book yourself for more than one wedding in a day?
I only shoot one wedding per day; and only 2 weddings a weekend. I never book more than one per day.
Do you have a replacement photographer in case you become unavailable on the day of the event?
Yes, you are guaranteed to have a photographer as I maintain an extensive network of photographers of similar skill and style
What kind of equipment do you typically bring with you on the day-of?
I bring a variety of lenses, tripods, lights, and Nikon cameras with me, but I tailor my list to avoid cluttering up your sites.
Do you bring back-up equipment to the event in case of malfunction?
Yes, I bring a complete set of backup equipment. I use a Professional Nikon camera body and always bring a second back-up Professional Nikon Camera to all my weddings.
Do you charge hourly or full day?
All our wedding packages are affordable while they are customized to meet your individual needs and budget and include complete coverage from 1 hour before ceremony until the end of the reception.
Some though prefer a ala? carte package in which they also only choose limited coverage. In these cases charge by the hour and we will charge additional hours as needed.
Are you available to shoot extra hours? If yes, how much do you charge for extra hours?
Additional hours may be added as needed for $175 per hour
I may not be available for overtime, so we suggest that you consult with us before picking a package to ensure you have purchased the right package and enough time.
What is your policy on taking breaks? If you require a meal break, do you require that the client provide your meal?
We take our breaks when the bridal party is taking a break.
Do you charge for travel?
I travel freely within Tampa Bay; and I have very reasonable travel fees for everywhere else - including destination weddings.
How soon after the event are the proofs ready for viewing?
Proofs normally take 4-6 weeks, depending on the size of the event.
In what format are the initial proofs offered?
Initial proofs are on your personalized photo gallery online at cheryldanielsphotography.com
How long can the client keep the proofs?
Proofs stay online for one full year. According to which customized package you choose you may get a cd of all photos. In this case there is no need to purchase proofs separately.
Do you retain the copyright for the photos?
Yes, we retain the copyright - but we give Printing permission to the bride & groom so that they can print up their own photos from their cd.
Do you reserve the right to publish the photos?
Yes, I reserve the right to use photos for promotions, to make samples, albums, and publish your images.
Do you provide the digital files and/or negatives (or copies of the negatives) to the client?
All customized packages include a cd of all images as well as a photographer's permission to print or a dvd slideshow of select images. At consultation please customize a package that will have your choice,
High resolution DVDs of retouched images are available for purchase separately also.
Will images be available for viewing online?
All packages include an online photo gallery at cheryldanielsphotography.com and posted in a password-protected gallery.
What kind of albums do you offer?
We can offer customized wedding albums with no photo or page limit or albums of selected sizes with limited images to meet your individual needs and budget.
When will the client get the final album?
Select size and limited image Albums are delivered with the loose selected images upon completed package. Customized albums take 2 weeks to design, and then they take 6-8 weeks to process. Books are generally ready three months after I receive your image choices.
