Love working with natural lighting. Always use a bounce flash indoor to create a softer more full light.
Is your media preference film or digital?
I shoot digital.
How many photographers do you work with?
I usually work alone, but for large weddings I have two other photographers that work with me.
Do you guarantee your presence at the actual event?
I am at every event, unless prior arrangements have been made and approved by the bride.
Do you sometimes book yourself for more than one event in a day? Weekend?
I book one wedding a weekend.
Do you have a replacement photographer in case you become unavailable on the day of the event?
I have two replacement photographers in the event of an emergency.
What kind of equipment do you typically bring with you on the day-of?
I bring two digital cameras, lenses, and flashes. If the bride desires on-sight back drop and lighting, I bring that as well.
Do you bring back-up equipment to the event in case of malfunction?
Yes -- always!
Do you charge hourly or full day?
1/2 day and full day
What is your policy on taking breaks? If you require a meal break, do you require that the client provide your meal?
I don't take scheduled breaks. I go with the flow of the event.
Do you charge for travel?
It would be based on a per case basis.
How soon after the event are the proofs ready for viewing?
Within one week.
In what format are the initial proofs offered?
CD-ROM and contact sheets
How long can the client keep the proofs?
I include the cost of the CD-ROM and all those pictures in my pricing. The CD is the brides to keep.
