I can't begin to explain how amazing CaliPaso Winery is to host an event. I had the honor this past weekend to coordinate a wedding with Ruth and Cassandra and my expectations were completely blown away. CaliPaso holds so much beauty in their manicured grounds but inside is where the real beauty is held. Having a team led by people who truly love what they do has a trickle down effect on anyone who has the honor to attend/work an event at this beautiful venue. I have been in the service/wedding industry for the past 20 years be it catering or coordinating and I have never seen a staff handle business so efficiently. I truly can't wait to come back to this venue for an incredible meal and or to work along side the friendly staff for an event. CaliPaso is a real gem in Paso Wine Country... a venue and boutique hotel worth raving about! Newly engaged couples who are searching for that Italian inspired villa with top notch catering options truly needs to add CaliPaso to their wedding venue tour list!

Calipaso is an incredible wedding venue. The property is stunning and so well maintained. It is perfect for a multi day wedding where you’d like to stay with your close family before and after the ceremony. Ruth, Casey, and the rest of the team treated us like family and worked tirelessly to help us have the wedding of our dreams. The food was amazing at every meal.

CaliPaso venue is a true gem, you will not find anywhere else. Ruth and her team give so much to their clients and go above and beyond in ways so many other venues do not. They are a true full service team offering accommodation, venue, rentals, catering, bartending, and event service staff. Not many wedding venues are all inclusive like this here on the Central Coast. Ruth is an exceptional venue coordinator and working with her comes easy. She goes the extra mile for her brides and it shows. CaliPaso is top notch and the entire staff are delightful to work with!

CaliPaso Winery & Villa is made for weddings. Everything you need is on site. The in house chef and the staff provide first class service to make all of your guests feel special. The lush landscaping and the vineyard views are stunning. With lodging on site your friends and family can be with you on property. It is the perfect venue to feel like you have a private retreat for the weekend.

Let me start by saying this…my daughter’s wedding at CaliPaso was MAGICAL!
You and your guests will be transported to Italy without all the costs and lengthy plane flights. From the building architecture to the surrounding vineyards, CaliPaso truly feels like a European destination wedding. If you didn’t know any better, our wedding photos look like they were taken in the Tuscan region of Italy.
The grounds were beyond gorgeous. The area for the ceremony was an architecturally stunning building with a grand staircase & fountain. It couldn’t have been more spectacular. The adjacent reception area also felt like a courtyard in Italy with string lights that enhanced the ambiance throughout the evening.
We rented the entire venue so family was able to stay on site for the weekend which made the occasion that much more special for those closest to us. The rooms were fabulous & spacious with breathtaking views of a vineyard from the balconies. But the best part was the bridal suite, it was like a beautiful home found only in magazines which allowed for gatherings of friends and family throughout the weekend.
I need to comment on the food, it was absolutely amazing! It was the thing most people commented on besides the venue. Portion sizes were great and it was restaurant quality, which is hard to accomplish with a large guest count. How can you beat that?!

Lastly, Ruth was our contact person from start to finish. She was so helpful, patient, caring, and never made you feel like you were asking too many questions. Ruth made us feel so special!
CaliPaso will always have a special place in our hearts! You can’t go wrong booking your wedding at this venue…it will be a highlight for you and your guests for years - it is that unique.

With their beautiful and immaculately upkept venue, professional staff with can do attitudes, pre-planning ease with Event manager Ruth, flawless execution day of and, excellent wine and absolutely delicious food, it's always a win for my clients and the entire vendor team!

We got married at CaliPaso in May 2022 and it was the most magical and beautiful day of our lives!! The venue is drop dead gorgeous and also extremely intimate. The lights strung above and hung on olive trees provide a beautiful ambiance for the reception and there are tons of beautiful areas for photos and different parts of the day. We also loved staying at the venue with our families for the weekend. We were able to have a small after party on site because of this which made the night even more fun.

On top of that, the people and food are AMAZING. Ruth was such a joy to work with and the people working at CaliPaso made our wedding weekend seamless and fun. We got numerous compliments on both the venue and food.

If you're contemplating getting married here, do it!

This review is long overdue... We stumbled on to this place in January 2017 when we were searching for venues in Paso Robles. I can honestly tell you that the pictures online do not do Calipaso justice. When we arrived for our appointment we spent a couple of minutes exploring and even in the midst of winter when the trees and branches are bare, Calipaso Winery was simply beautiful. It was everything that we were looking for and didn't even know it.

Booking the venue was easy with Jaime. She was informative and kept us on our deadlines. She provided us with many contacts and vendors. Calipaso Winery had everything; gorgeous rooms that are just steps away from the site, on-site catering, delicious wine; tables and chairs; beautiful scenery & a staff that is accommodating.

We ended up booking the ENTIRE venue and organized a movie night with our close family and friends the night before our wedding. Tenants that weekend enjoyed a delicious continental breakfast. We had separate rooms for the groom and bridal party to get ready. The staff was extremely helpful during set up.

Chef Chris and his team did an amazing job with the food, it was exactly as I remembered it during our tasting. Some feedback was the food didn't come out as fast but honestly I think my family was just super hungry checking out the food on the next table. We highly recommend a charcuterie display if you like meats cause it was amazing. The team saved the leftovers for the wedding stragglers and delivered it to our room after the festivities.

Overall the experience was memorable. I am so grateful for the entire Calipaso team for making our wedding day special. We have many fond moments that we'll remember even on our 40th anniversary. Calipaso is breathtaking. It was the perfect getaway for a calm and yet exciting event. Thank you so much!

We booked the entire venue for the weekend. I recommend any wedding held there to use this option. The Villa's are so beautiful and the Winemaker Suite is the best to hold a bachelorette party the night before and then convert to the bride and groom suite the night of! We had the best staff, always willing to help! It made getting ready so much easier for me and my family! The weather held out (with rain in the forecast) and the outdoor venue was perfect! Chris and his team did an excellent job with the menu and serving! I would only recommend one thing - I think that the catering staff should offer the family that is staying at the villa's a lunch if the wedding is held in the evening.
