Mary was AMAZING!!! I met with her once over the course of wedding planning and went over everything that we wanted! She is super easy to work with!! She knew what I wanted and when I saw my flowers and when I saw how beautiful the beach looked (arch, isle) I cried! Her flowers blew me away! It looked amazing!!! All of my guests were completely impressed!

She was on time and set-up as planned! Everything was done perfect! I can't thank Mary enough for being a great vendor. I will have some pictures in my Bio page soon if you want to see her work at our wedding...

I have all my flowers in my freezer..I couldnt throw them away. I wish they could have lasted forever!

I have referred her to two "brides to be" that plan on using her in 2010.

Ava's Garden was the best florist I found after seeing so many in the area. Mary, the florist, helped me with professionalism in choosing my flowers, colors...and most important of all, she was very attentive and a great listener to what I wanted or what I had in mind for the big day.

Mary was extremely flexible even though we signed a contract. She was willing to substitute some items I didn't need for other things I wanted to offer to my guests. I doubt many florists would have done the same. She even added petals on my cake as we didn't have any decoration for it.

Thank you again for such a great job done. We really enjoyed working with you. I will definitely recommend Ava's Garden to families and friends for future events.

PERFECT!!! I loved working with Mary. She had great ideas and definitely "got it"! I especially loved her creativity and flexibility. I never felt like she was forcing my budget - as we added and changed things over the months before our wedding, she was very flexible and completely open to my multiple questions. It was a joy to work with her and just as important - the flowers on my wedding day were gorgeous, perfect - all I had ever hoped for! We received tons of comments from our guests about how beautiful and classic our flowers were. Ava's Garden easily exceeded my expectations!

Mary was my favorite vendor to work with. She's down to earth, funny and has many creative ideas to help create the wedding of your dreams! She has a knack for creating very romantic pieces and she is flexible enough to incorporate your ideas as well. She did a phenomenal job at our aqua and pale orange wedding, and I would definitely use her again for another event. Her prices are also very reasonable compared to other South Bay florists.

Mary is a very nice person and very friendly...when she answers the phone. Through out the course of our planning it would take multiple phone calls, emails and texts to get a hold of her and she would never call me back. I had to call her and if she happened to answer I could talk to her. Granted she was receptive when I did get a chance to talk to her. However, she seemed to forget the things we discussed and my bouquet was not the right color on the day of the wedding.

The flowers were pretty on the day of the wedding. The unnecessary stress leading up to the wedding made it very difficult for me though. I would have preferred to pay a little more and have a professional who would call me back and talk to me. It was not cheap though.

It is possible that if you go for one of her standard packages you would have less need to interact with her, and less headache. But, we did have custom selections that required more correspondence, which was not a positive experience.

I used Mary for my wedding, and had a horrible experience. The flowers I received looked old and I did not receive the arrangements for my reception that we agreed upon. It was horrible. I called and left a message to try to find out what happened, only to never receive a call back.
