We just got married this July 2017 and had a wonderful ceremony at Anytime Wedding Chapel! This is a great alternative to anyone wanting a more personal and traditional ceremony than you would get at a courthouse. Lynn was great, I appreciate the time she took to get to know us as a couple in order to make our ceremony feel exclusive to us. The price is reasonable and they have a lot of options available to fit your guest size and additional touches.
The ceremony itself was beautiful, Lynn had some wonderful words of guidance for our lives together. I highly recommend them to anyone getting married that wants a special and meaningful ceremony!

This is about the 6th or 7th  (maybe even more than that) wedding that I have attended in our family at this chapel over the last 15 years and I must say that we keep coming back because the services are reasonably priced, the ministers do a fantastic job of expressing the real meaning of marriage and the chapel itself is lovely.  Thank you for being there for our family whether the weddings were planned months or even weeks in advance.  We will continue to highly recommend you

I should have written this review a while ago. Although my marriage is in the crapper my experience with Sherry and Anytime Wedding Chapel was stellar. She made it easy for me:,first time getting married and what to do? Done she gave me all info I needed to reduce my stress level to a palpable range.

She Did Not pass judgement on my situation (no wasn't pregnant) and I appreciated that she was very open , honest and upfront about what she could do and what the policies are on which she runs her cute Lil business. She does have a chapel all decorated quite nicely I chose to get married in a quaint cozy area a bit east of eastlake at my husbands friend George b's place. She came out very professional and like I said service beautiful and rates totally reasonable... Totally

The service went off without a hitch and I've been married for 10 underwhelming years. However, I was so impressed that I recommended a friend and her soon to be and guess who was the maid of honor? U guessed it.

I stopped in the chapel when I was in the area and talked with sherry for a bit. I see that she now is doing memorial services which is kizmit because my family will be in need of her services any day now. Now it feels like family. Thanks Sherry and AWC... For being consistent and no beating around bush We will be talking soon. Regarding the Memorial

Gay couple denied wedding ceremony in Bonita

Several reviews show Anytime Wedding Chapel refuses to perform same sex ceremonies claiming religious beliefs

BONITA, Calif. — A South Bay wedding chapel is facing complaints after a same sex couple says they were discriminated against while trying to getting married there.

The couple who tried to get married at Anytime Wedding Chapel in Bonita didn't want to go on camera, but their advocates say the gay couple was denied a wedding ceremony.

Deborah Gordon says on Friday afternoon, a gay couple called Anytime Wedding Chapel to plan their nuptials.

“The person who answered the phone blatantly said, ‘we do not officiate weddings for same sex couples,’” said Gordon, EdD.

The officiant who wrote her dissertation about same sex weddings says that’s when the couple reached out to her at Minister Deb Weddings.

“What I think was most upsetting for the couple was that because this is their first time ever reaching out to a vendor, they thought this was the norm,” said Gordon.

She says in the hundreds of weddings she’s officiated and dealt with vendors not one has had issue with same sex weddings. She says this is not the norm but Anytime Wedding Chapel has made it their norm.

Countless Facebook and one-star reviews on Yelp dating back to 2015 complain about the Chapel not serving same sex couples. Responders appear to come from the business claiming refusal because of religious beliefs.

Gordon says she followed up and called the Chapel herself to inquire about renewing her vows with her partner.

“Then they proceeded to tell me the same exact line, 'we do not do officiate same sex, anything or allow any same sex couples to have any sort of celebration in our venue,'” said Gordon.

In one of the Facebook reviews, it appears the business responded citing the protection of California Family Code 400.

“It is completely inapplicable in this situation. It really doesn't apply to a for-profit company that puts together weddings for people,” said Jacqueline Vinaccia, trial attorney and partner at Vanst Law.

Vinaccia is also a member of Equality California that advocates for LGBTQ+ rights.

She says this family code only protects an individual officiant not a business because of religious beliefs

Not lgbtqia+ friendly

Lynn, the owner of this establishment, is hugely homophobic and transphobic, refusing to let LGBTQIA+ couples book with them. If you are LGBTQIA+ or an ally, don't give these bigots your business.
We're all about trust. Our community relies on honest reviews to help you make those big decisions with ease.
