About
Annie Goldman has been photographing people and events her whole life. She started photographing weddings when her friends began getting married and knew this is where she needed to be.

After moving to North Carolina in 2005, she began fine-tuning her abilities and started offering her services to Triangle-Area brides in 2007.

Her specialty is intimate, outdoor weddings and also Engagement photoshoots. Annie has a knack for having fun with her clients and making them feel comfortable in front of her lens. A little joke or funny comment and her clients feel at ease and a natural smile eminates from her clients.

Annie truly enjoys photographing new couples and this shows during the events and in the final products. You will be very happy and have some beautiful memories that will last for ever!

Please view Annie's website at http://AnnieGoldman.Photoreflect.com or give Annie a call at 919.986.0782 or email ButterflyBride@gmail.com to set up an appointment.

Frequently Asked Questions for Photography
Do you offer special techniques such as hand-coloring or toning?
I offer color touching to your favorite photos. I can highlight your bouquet, your husband's boutonniere, or your daughter's reflection in a mirror.

Do you have experience shooting in various lighting situations?
My specialty is outdoor, intimate weddings, however, I will photograph any outdoor event no matter how large or small.

Is your media preference film or digital?
I photograph all events using a Canon 40D digital SLR.

Do you guarantee your presence at the actual event?
I certainly do! I pride myself in being early and capturing all of the details you have spent months planning.

Do you sometimes book yourself for more than one event in a day? Weekend?
I shoot only one event in a day.

Do you bring back-up equipment to the event in case of malfunction?
Yes.

Do you charge hourly or full day?
I generally book for a full day.

Are you available to shoot extra hours? If yes, how much do you charge for extra hours?
I am available for any overtime work as needed by the Bride and Groom at a rate of $50 per hour.

What is your policy on taking breaks? If you require a meal break, do you require that the client provide your meal?
I try not to take my eyes off of the Bride and Groom. I am paid to photograph the entire event and will take as many photos as possible to cover the entire event.

Do you charge for travel?
I charge an additional fee for traveling to a location outside of the Triangle area.

How soon after the event are the proofs ready for viewing?
Since my photos are provided to the newlyweds on a DVD, I do not put up "proofs", but give them the actual, full size digital images for their use.

In what format are the initial proofs offered?
I upload my images to my website, http://AnnieGoldman.PhotoReflect.com, and provide the newlyweds with DVD(s) of all of their images.

How long can the client keep the proofs?
Hopefully you will treasure them with your grandchildren!

Do you retain the copyright for the photos?
Yes, but I also provide full copyright privilege to the newlyweds.

Do you reserve the right to publish the photos?
Yes.

Do you provide the digital files and/or negatives (or copies of the negatives) to the client?
Yes.

Will images be available for viewing online?
Yes.

What kind of albums do you offer?
Hardcover photobooks ranging in size from 5" x 5" up to 11" x 13".

When will the client get the final album?
Books can be ordered and made at anytime. Depending on the complexity of the book design and the quantity of pages and images, books take between 4-6 weeks to create.

Tips and Advice
Whatever type of wedding you plan, whether it be a full cathedral wedding, or a backyard barbecue, make sure you have fun! You only do this once, so do it right.  Plan for all the details.
Accept help when you are able to and graciously say "no" when you do not require assistance.
Don't regret anything.  You don't want to look back and say, "I wish I did or didn't __________."
Don't overdo or outdo your event.  Let it reflect your everyday style.
