While A Pinch of Spirit is still in it’s beginning stages, I have been creatively perfecting my talent cumulatively for more than 6 years. I am an outgoing, imaginative, personable and highly organized cake designer. 

I have created cakes and creative favors for themed parties, weddings, adult and children’s birthday parties, fund raisers, holiday celebrations, and bridal/baby showers, to name a few. 

Inspired by my sisters, Trinity, Consciousness, Unity, Eternity, Reality, and Righteousness, I passionately began creating many small and large cakes from the age of 19 at home for many friends and family members.  Each cake was raved about by all involved. 

I later attended Clark Atlanta University in Atlanta, Georgia with several scholarships in music and academics.  I focused on completing a degree in Business Management. However, throughout this time, my passion continued to be creating fabulous cakes.  After encouragement from family, friends and the death of my sister Eternity, I decided to fulfill what many felt was my calling, creating the ultimate cake of all types for all kinds of people.

With unfailing trust and faith in God, I am excelling in every project I have assumed, and will never stop enjoying the process and having FUN!

Invitations and Favors Details

What is your average turnaround time, from initial contact to shipment? Please allow 2 weeks from your order date to recieve your shipment.

Are you able to meet clients in person to showcase your product? Absolutely! We love to meet new and returning clients! Just let us know where you need us and when, and we will be there!

Wedding Cake Details

Do you offer private tastings or open house tastings? Yes, we do offer complimentary tastings for upcoming weddings.

What are your tasting hours? By appointment only.

Describe how you price your cakes (by slice, by cake, by tier, etc.): Our wedding cakes start at $2.50 per slice. Please call us to discuss the cake of your dreams. We are flexible and budget friendly.

Does the price include the top-tier of the cake? Yes. We also include a complimentary 1st Year Anniversary cake to each wedding cake order placed!!

Do you offer custom cakes, or do you work with pre-designed styles? We offer both custom and pre-designed. We are here to listen to what YOU want. Our job is to create a wedding cake based on your vision, design and budget.

List any special ingredients you use in your cakes: You can taste the freshness in our cakes! Fresh Butter, Fresh Eggs, Fresh Fruit of Choice, Madagascar Burbon Vanilla and much more!

What (if any) special dietary restrictions can you accomodate? Diabetic Cakes, Vegan Cakes, Organic Fruits, Personal Recipes Favorites.

On average, how far in advance of the wedding day do you prepare the cake? We never freeze our cakes! We typically prepare your cakes no more than 2 days in advance.

On average, how many wedding cakes do you do for a weekend? This is contingent upon the complexity of the cakes. We do not over book ourselves. It is important that we take the time needed to create the cake you expect.

Will you work with the bride's florist to garnish the cake? Absolutely.

What (if any) cake accessories do you rent out? Cake cutter, Cake Set, Cake Stand

Do you offer delivery? If yes, how much is your average delivery fee? Yes, we deliver anywhere within 60 miles of the Los Angeles area. There is a minimum delivery and set-up fee of $50.00.

Are you licensed by the state health department? Yes
