My name is CW Ranslam,I stated Dj-ing relatives weddings and friends parties in the 90's on the side while selling records at my dayjob.after a career change and during a period of un-employment in 2004 I decided to try it proffesionally as a trainee with a local DJ and soundman,He rented me equipment and booked my shows for about 4 years,until suddenly moving to a market 2-3 hours away in 2008.I decided to continue on my own,and since then I've been independantly booking and working various clubs,weddings,graduations and parties.
I'd say I can cover any mainstream style and I do have a bit of everything on the edges of mainstream/alternative my strong points as far as my music collection goes would be,Classic rock,alternative rock,80's new wave,2000's rock/pop/and hip-hop,disco,heavy metal,euro style dance music.Indie rock.,some dubstep
I'd say my lesser complete categories are 50's-80's country,newer country,60's folk,rat pack era.punk rock,funk
Weak points in my collection would be jazz,blues,standards,showtunes,disney,latin,gangster rap,.-
I mostly work with Tractor on a laptop and a dual mini turntable usb drive module,but can play Cd's,Dvd's and hook most anything that makes noise up to my mixer.I carry enough microphones to mic up a several people and can capture an acoustic ambience as well with condenser mics.

My system is scaleable for intimate parties of under 50 people,or big time ragers for 250 or more people.
I don't mind annoucing or talking on the mic,but mostly I stick to mixing and paying attention to my job and personally talking to people one on one as they request or inquire about the event..I try not to be the center of attention,but create an energy for you to shine at your party!
