My partner and I had the pleasure of working with Anji & Pete for our engagement photos and our wedding day photos. They were incredibly receptive and responsible to our ideas, and they made us feel comfortable throughout the experience. We were thrilled to find such a passionate and fun vendor who embraced our vision for more documentary-style photography to capture the moments, both big and small, throughout our wedding journey. Gosh, I don't know even know where to begin! I was looking desperately for a photographer that I felt connected with my hubby and I's vision. I randomly received an email from Anji & Pete with a link to their website. I opened it up and instantaneously felt a connection to their work. Their work captured the emotions and feelings that are so important on a special day like a wedding. When we started exchanging information, I just knew that my husband and I were getting so blessed by Anji & Pete. The quality of there work is above and beyond and my family and I couldn't have felt more special that day. I have attached photos below for review.
Recently, my husband and I were showing some friends our wedding photos and they stated that they had never seen such incredible work from a wedding. I think they even said this is "Hollywood talent", but truly Anji & Pete are amazing. Awesome people and amazing couple. We are so thankful for that first email and the beautiful work they gave us from our special day:)
In addition, they captured the important elements and emotions despite the challenges of the restrictions of covid.

We worked with Anji and Pete for both our wedding and engagement photography and I absolutely could not be happier. As someone who gets very nervous in front of a camera, I was worried about photography. They both took the time to get to know us and to put us at ease, especially in posed situations. We wanted the photographs to feel like us: joyful, silly, colorful, and exuberant...not like a generic wedding magazine. They chose a fabulous location for the engagement shoot (gardens outside the Smithsonian castle). When I look back at our wedding pictures I see a moment-by-moment representation of an amazing day that flew by for me as the bride. Of course they captured us as bride and groom, but they also made intimate and lovely portraits of our friends and family, who were there to celebrate with us. Having those moments captured in images reminds us of the love all around us when we got married this fall. The collection of images is a treasure!
